IT was March 30, 2014 and the date could have been etched into the memory of every Hibs fans as the day their side relegated Hearts.

The Jambos of course avoided that painful scenario by winning 2-0 and now the boot's on the other Edinburgh foot.

Hearts won't relegate their city rivals with victory at Easter Road but they will cause nerves to jangle even more.

Hibs face the prospect of a play-off to save their Premiership skins unless they show an immediate improvement – and after the results on Friday and Saturday they are just one point of clear of second bottom.

Terry Butcher's side have suffered four successive 2-0 defeats and bad defending and no goal threat is a bad mix.

Hearts are without the influential Jamie Hamill but are unbeaten in four and look decent value at 10-3 with Paddy Power and Ladbrokes. McBookie go 6-1 for new customers, maximum bet £10.

It's such a big price you can have Hearts draw no bet at 9-4 with Ladbrokes or Hearts plus one at 1-1 with bet365 – and 0-0 will bring both of these in.

I can't see Hibs scoring so if Gary Locke's side, who have netted 12 in six outings, can net even once they can succeed. In fact best of all could be under 2.5 goals at 4-5 with McBookie.

The Jambos, despite all of their problems this season, have raised their game for derbies to win three out of four meetings this season and I can see that being four out of five.

Dale Carrick has scored three goals in four games Hearts including the opener against Hibs last month. He is 11-4 at William Hill to net again.

I’m buzzing about this game. If all goes as expected I’ll be making almost 4 figures from 2 figure stakes. C’MON JAMBOS!!

Alex sorry lol I meant to say Liverpool, although I wouldn’t say Chelsea have no chance, Jose tends to not lose in big games bt I can see Liverpool getting a couple of 1st half goals

    Well done Stephen .
