Osasuna v Real Sociedad
Sunday, 6pm (Live on Sky Sports 1)

OSASUNA have not scored in 356 minutes of league football at the Reyno de Navarra.

Zero goals simply won't be enough against Real Sociedad, who have ripped into better sides with 23 goals in 11 away matches (W6-D4-L1).

Asier Illarramendi's suspension might send you running for a bit of Asian Handicap cover but records show Sociedad have scored 11 goals in three games without him this season.

If Ruben Pardo misses out as well – he's rated doubtful at the time of writing – that's when the draw becomes a concern.

Sevilla v Atletico Madrid
Sunday, 8pm (Live on Sky Sports 1)

SEVILLA have won their last seven Liga home matches, averaging three goals per game for the last six.

But Atletico are unbeaten in four on the road (W2 D2) and eased concerns about a lack of goals with a 5-0 thumping of Granada.

Clean sheets in all four of those away games say the visitors can defend too. Sevilla's six home wins under Unai Emery have come against weaker opposition – ninth-placed Vallecano are currently highest in the table among them.

Sevilla were 3-0 up in the city derby with Betis last weekend. The fallout from throwing that lead away is still to come.

Atletico's counter-attacking style looks a good fit for Sevilla's more straightforwardly aggressive approach and we're ready to give the visitors a bit of support on the Asian Handicap.

Keep an eye on the sending off market too. This season's three previous meetings of these two brought eight red cards (seven for Sevilla).

    Hi hi!
Im pretty confused, what does the 0 and +0.5 mean mentioned Back Atletico Madrid 0 & +0.5.

And by word back, u mean bet?

Sry, been laying single bets, and so far so good :)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Rem, this is an Asian handicap bet that has been explained on the site loads of times. Back means bet and if you want to learn about how Asian handicaps work google the term and there are plenty of explanations.

Rem,,purely playing ‘devils advocate’ (they are not a team btw)
1st,, the word “back” does mean ‘bet’. e.g. I think i will “back” man city to beat spurs today”
2nd,, I am by no means an all knowing gambler but when anyone puts a bet on and they end it with +0.5, -1, +1.5 etc…these numbers relate to goals and I am sure it is ‘Asian betting/Asian market’ and you would be best to ‘google’ asian market as Milesey will probably have a fit as he has explained it numerous times, lol,,

Best stick to what you know mate, sgls, dbls accys…Im sure one of the more experienced guys on the site can explain this better than me,,,good luck today

Asian handicap of 0.0 is the same as ‘Draw No Bet’, so you get your stake back if it’s a draw, lose the bet if Sevilla win, and win the bet of athletico win.

0.5+ means you give the chosen team a half goal handicap advantage, so it’s the same as a ‘Double Chance’ bet, so you win the bet if Athletico win or draw because even with the draw since you’ve given the team a mythical 0.5 advantage, they have ‘won’ the game.

    Summary:
    0.0 = Draw No Bet
    +0.5 = Double Chance

Asian handicaps also allow you to do a single bet with the stake split into 2 virtual ‘bets’.

So you have an option of taking ‘0.0 / +0.5’ which means if you put £10 on, you’ll win the bet outright if Athletico win, but if they draw you’ll get half stake back (£5), and lose £5. Out just lessens the loss by half if it’s a draw.
