ANDY MURRAY lost out to Rafa Nadal in the semis yesteday and today the Spaniard takes on Gael Monfils for the Monte Carlo Masters title.
Nadal won the event eight years in a row from 2015 and and is hot favourite at 2-7 with Coral to regain the crown this afternoon.
Monfils, who has just two wins in 13 meetings with Nadal and has lost all four head-to-heads on clay, is a 3-1 chance at bet365 for glory and 6-5 at William Hill to win a set.
At the F1 Chinese Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton's hopes look doomed as he starts last on the grid and is 11-1 at Paddy Power, with Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg taking pole and 1-2 at totesport for a third successive victory.

Sorry chaps, my boxing tip (posted Friday) fell one short for the second week running. So close to a 10/1 winner after coming inches from a 17/1 the week before.

More intriguing results today with performances telling us more than the results in my opinion. Agree with nflfan re: Pune and du plessis and in the 2nd game some questions starting to appear around the once untouchable Gayle? Out for a duck today having been more famine than feast in his last 10 T20 matches. Fantastic batting performances from Kohli (as ever) and de Kock with his ton.
As for the bets, once again, these early matches are providing useful insight for the later rounds (it’d just be handy if they did so without going against my pre-match logic!) ;)
