OKAY, let's clear this up. Ally McCoist isn't making a comeback for Rangers and our betting story was simply an April Fool.

Some of you saw through it straight away but others almost choked on their cornflakes when they read about McBookie.com's offer of 6-1 on the Ibrox boss to score no SPL goals this season.

McBookie.com were inundated with requests for bets and there was plenty of discussion about the subject on our comments section.

There was of course a £50 free bet from McBookie.com up for grabs to one person who commented and Kenny has been picked at random to win the prize.

He was one of those duped by the story and there's no truth in the rumour his £50 is going on Rangers to qualify for the Champions League anytime soon.

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Kenny, it’s no second April Fool. We’ll have to wait another year to catch you out again.

Well throw out a nice piece of bait and i’ll take it! How do i get this free bet and what are the rules?

    • Mr Fixit 9 years ago

Kenny, guy from McBookie will email you. I’d imagine he’ll ask you to open account to which he’ll credit £50. You’ll have to punt with it then you can withdraw any winnings if you wish.

That’s some free bet paul, i’ll try and make them regret it :)
