The three selection from yesterday yielded a small loss, if you backed all three, with two running quite a fair bit below par, and the other finishing 2nd at odds of 16/1. Chef D'Oeuvre, who placed, looked like the winner for a lot of the race, but he was clearly knackered over the last two fences, as he got in too close and virtually crawled over them. Good effort nonetheless, but it was a shame not to get a winner.
Sandown 1:10
Milton Harris is quickly becoming one of my trainers to follow, as he is having a tremendous season so far, especially with his juveniles. Even though this selection isn't a juvenile, there are reasons to believe he will be tough to beat in this. GLOBAL AGREEMENT showed a lot of heart when winning last time out at Carlisle, as he was off the bit for a lot of the race and was under the pump for at least half of the race. However, he showed his stamina as he stayed on well to land the spoils, similar to his Wetherby run, where he appeared to have no chance but he pulled that one out of the fire.
Milton Harris is very good at placing his horses, and he has even said in an interview on RacingTV to Nick Luck, that his strong point is placing his horses. I tend to agree with that statement, and I think he has potentially found another opportunity for this horse. The fact he hasn't gone up for his recent wins and the fact he has got a 10lb claimer riding him in a Conditional riders' race, looks like a good bit of placing, and he feels confident of a win.
The ground conditions and the stiff track should play to Global Agreement's strengths, who is a strong stayer at the trip.
Leicester 3:20
ARIAN looks like the one to beat in this contest. She has been consistent so far this season, when getting suitable conditions, which is why you can overlook her latest race, as 3m clearly isn't her cup of tea.
The form of the win and runner-up looks quite good, with the runner-up and then winner of those races (same horse) has won since. The ground and trip shouldn't be an issue, and the overall form of the others in this race is rather poor. Cut The Mustard carries top weight, is in a lower grade of race than what she's used to, but she'd have to bounce back to form. Grand Turina is a previous winning selection for us on this thread, but looks weighted to her best and gets on well with the 10lb claimer, who doesn't take the ride today. Une De La Seniere hasn't really enjoyed the soft ground, so I can't imagine she'd somehow take a liking to it today, and looks in need of summer ground & the remaining horse was pulled up on stable debut, which leaves us with the selection who looks a solid bet with all things considered.
just noticed rizzle pick today

Global art 8-30 Chelmsford.
5-1 top 4 finish 🏇 NAP.
33-1 each way 4 places @skybet.
22-1 bet365 ew extra 5 places.
C&D winner; on fair mark for previous runs.
Not run since October which is a drawback and drawn 9 of 9 (is this important at Chelmsford ??) but none of these seem to have performed to any decent level above this class 4 racing.
Claimer takes 3lb off to drop him towards the bottom of the weights which may help.
Of course like all these low graders consistency isn’t a strong suit but global art has 2 wins 4 seconds and 3 third place finishes at Chelmsford along with a few no shows.
At 22-1 to finish 5th of 8 and 33-1 4th or better looks over priced maybe ????
probably the most stand out colours on the AW over the last 12 months, good luck with it.
