CARDIFF touched 25-1 with Ladbrokes during in-play betting against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

Malky Mackay's team began the match as the 11-2 outsiders and after Edin Dzeko's wonder goal the home side were quoted at 25-1 to pick up the points.

Prior to kick-off Ladbrokes' biggest bet for the Bluebirds was £180 with one punter really keeping the faith in Cardiff with a £5k wager 10 minutes into the match.

More than 2500 bets were placed in-play for the City win and only one punter backed Fraizer Campbell to score next in the match at 1-1, staking £10 at odds of 18-1.

Cardiff were chalked up at 85-1 ante-post to win 3-2 during Sunday's five-goal thriller.

Ladbrokes spokesperson Jessica Bridge said: “Everyone expected this to be a baptism of fire for Cardiff but this is a huge coupon buster for the weekend and the bookies are joining in on the Welsh poznan.”

wonder if anyone was on zero yellow cards in this game.
very rare, especially when you consider Cardiff must have been well wound up for this game
