Chelsea’s apparent resurgence was short-lived and following defeats to Liverpool and Wolves the misery could continue for Mauricio Pochettino at Villa Park tonight.
The Blues have an EFL Cup final to look forward to but just can’t get going this season. They and Aston Villa drew blank in the first match but the hosts look a good bet at 23/20 this evening.
Unai Emery’s men bounced back from defeat by Newcastle with a resounding 5-0 win at Sheffield United, which could’ve been more.
Everyone is well aware of how good Villa have been at home and there’s nothing to suggest Chelsea have it in them to go there and win tonight.
Easter Road is a ground that Brendan Rodgers has never won at in his two spells as Celtic boss. A 0-0 draw back in October extended that run to four matches but anything other than all three points tonight could send the club in to a full-blown crisis following Rangers victory over Aberdeen last night which drew them level on points with the Hoops.
A 1-1 at Aberdeen on Saturday was Celtic’s first dropped points in seven but the signs were there in an unimpressive 1-0 win over Ross County the previous week. An unsatisfactory transfer window allied to Rangers’ piling on the pressure has made things a bit fraught around the club and it’d be a brave man to back them as short as 4/11.
The good news for Celtic is that opponents Hibernian are in a bit of a sticky spell themselves. A 3-0 home defeat to St Mirren means they’re winless in six in the league (D2 L4) and has seen them slip out of the top six.
Despite some uninspiring displays of late Celtic are still hitting good corner numbers. Their last three away from home have seen them take a whopping 47 corners. Over the last six away they’ve averaged 13.5 per game. It’s 5/6 on there being 12 or more for both teams combined tonight.
Kilmarnock look a stick-on to beat Livingston at Rugby Park. They boast the best home record outside of Celtic and Rangers and and have lost just twice on their own patch.
Livi look doomed at the foot of the table, they’ve won just twice all season since the start of October, 16 games ago.
The hosts have been backed in to 4/7 which is short enough but if they can so while scoring two or more goals it’s a much more attractive even money bet as is the 11/8 on Killie to win to nil.

The site already has an “upvoting” system (i.e. the heart thing). Perhaps ask the Admin guys to consider adding a simple downvoting function too, so users can downvote any post(s) which are negative. Then, any post with (say) -20 or more in negative feedback triggers an email alert to you/Admin.
I have some Development experience, and it should be a doddle to impliment (this site is built using WordPress, and you can pick up free/inexpensive plugins which add this functionality)
