Three days after parting company with manager Philippe Clement, Rangers travel to Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday night.
The Belgian paid the price for Saturday’s 2-0 loss at home to St Mirren, with club legend Barry Ferguson placed in interim charge until the end of the season.
Opponents Kilmarnock will also come into this clash off the back of a defeat, after being edged out 1-0 away at Aberdeen on Saturday.
Derek McInnes’ side tend to do their best work at Rugby Park and they can land a blow on a Rangers defence without a clean sheet in their last six Scottish Premiership away games.
Liverpool to Score 2+ (Wednesday, 20:15)
Liverpool will look to tighten their hold on top spot in the Premier League by putting Newcastle to the sword at Anfield on Wednesday night.
The Reds cleared a huge hurdle in their pursuit of the title with a comfortable 2-0 win at Man City on Sunday.
As for Newcastle, they boosted their hopes of a top four finish with a dramatic 4-3 win over Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool have scored two goals or more in 24 of their 27 league games this season and another double may be needed to topple the Toon Army.
