There's more EFL Cup action tonight and the clash between Liverpool and Chelsea at Anfield has the potential to be a cracker.
Both teams have already been involved in plenty of thrillers so far this season as they adapt to different systems under young, progressive managers.
So the stage is set for an entertaining last-16 tie, even though both teams are unlikely to be at full strength.
Liverpool vs Chelsea
You suspect the EFL Cup means more to Chelsea than Liverpool this season, given the Blues don't have any European games to keep them busy.
The Reds, on the other hand, are trying to juggle Champions League and Premier League football so Andoni Iraola may decide to give some big hitters a breather.
Chelsea will also be without some key men due to suspension and injury so it's a tricky one to call, especially with Liverpool having home advantage.
So it's probably best steering clear of backing a winner and going for goals instead, given both defences have been looking suspect all season.
Combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals pays just 4/6 at Bet365 but there's more value in over 1.5 first-half goals at 11/10, a bet that landed for me in Liverpool's last home game.
Manchester City vs Brighton and Hove Albion
The EFL Cup is probably pretty low on Manchester City's list of priorities this season and it will be interesting to see how strong a team they field tonight when Brighton come calling.
The Seagulls saw their storming start to the season grind to a halt at Anfield on Sunday but the 2-0 scoreline didn't tell the true picture, with Fabian Hurzeler's side wasting several good chances.
So Bet365 may live to regret pricing Brighton at 7/2 for a win tonight, although a lot will depend on how many changes Hurzeler makes too.
Brighton are unbeaten in their last four clashes with Manchester City and they've only drawn a blank in one of the last eight meetings.
That suggests we'll see goals at both ends tonight and backing BTTS in the second half appeals at 13/8 with Bet365.
Youngster Ryan McAidoo nay get another chance to impress for City and the forward is 11/8 to score or assist.
Heart of Midlothian vs Rangers
There's a huge game in the SPFL Premiership tonight as Derek McInnes returns to Tynecastle for the first time as Rangers boss.
McInnes came within a whisker of leading Hearts to a shock title triumph last season and upset the Gorgie faithful by jumping ship for Ibrox after just one year in charge.
He also took Lawrence Shankland and Cammy Devlin with him to Rangers but neither of those players will feature tonight due to injury.
That means all the ire will be directed at McInnes but he will fancy his chances of silencing them after watching the Jambos crash to a 7-1 defeat at Celtic Park earlier this month.
Hearts then lost to Trabzonspor in the Conference League but boosted their confidence with a win away to Motherwell on Sunday.
Rangers are a step up in class from the Steelmen though and offer some value at 11/10 given the Jambos have a few key players injured and look so shaky in defence.
We should see plenty of goals if Wouter Vrancken sticks to his gung-ho tactics and over 1.5 first-half goals appeals in this one too at 11/8.
