Wednesday’s football tips: Expect some EFL Cup thrills with all Gunners blazing

Arsenal have it all to do in the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final tonight but head to Newcastle buoyed by a five-star show against Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta's men need to overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit in front of a partisan St James' Park crowd and the bookies don't fancy their chances, with the Magpies 1/7 hot favourites to go through.

However, Newcastle have lost their last two home games and the Gunners have shown they can blow top-class teams away after crushing City 5-1 on Sunday.
