Wednesday’s Football Tips: Celtic Women won’t Bridge quality gap against Chelsea

With the UEFA Nations League action finally over, it's back to club football for the foreseeable future, kicking off with the women's Champions League tonight.

The headline game comes at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea look to continue their 100 per cent record in Group B when Celtic come calling.

The Hoops pushed their big-name rivals all the way at Celtic Park last week and scored their first group-stage goal in an entertaining 2-1 defeat.

But with the Blues back on home soil tonight, this should be a more comfortable victory for the English giants.

I thought the bookies had underestimated Celtic Women a bit last week and cashed in by backing Elena Sadiku's side in the handicap.

The other game in the group sees Twente host Real Madrid and the Dutch side are out for revenge after being battered 7-0 in Spain.

The margin of that defeat was a bit surprising, given Twente had won away to Celtic and played reasonably well in a 3-1 loss at home to Chelsea.

They will be itching to make amends back on home soil and going for BTTS might be a good at idea at 6/5 with Betano given Twente have scored in two of their three group games so far.

Combining BTTS with a win for Real Madrid boosts the odds to 8/5 with Bet365.

Bahia vs Palmeiras top betting tips

There's some action in the men's game tonight as well with top-flight matches in Brazil's Serie A.

The pick of the games sees second-placed Palmeiras head to Bahia, looking to extend an impressive run that has seen them lose just once in 12 games.

That defeat did come on their last away day but Palmeiras will fancy their chances against a Bahia side in poor form. They've picked up just one point from their last five games so it's no surprise to see Bahia as 2/1 outsiders.

Palmeiras are 23/20 and that looks decent value based on the recent form of both sides. Estevao has netted seven times in his last eight games for Palmeiras so he looks overpriced at 10/3 with Bet365 for anytime scorer.
