First goalscorer predictions

The Champions League play-offs have given us plenty of thrills and surprises this week so armchair fans will be hoping for more of the same tonight in the Europa and Conference Leagues.

The glamour game in the Europa League sees Roma host Porto and the Italians are 1/3 hot favourites to go through after a 1-1 draw away from home last week.

But the Portuguese giants are unbeaten in their last six in all competitions and they have enough firepower in their ranks to give Claudio Ranieri's men a run for their money.

Roma vs Porto top betting tips

Roma are in excellent form at the Stadio Olimpico, winning seven of their last eight and drawing the other against Serie A leaders Napoli. Although Porto are a good side, that strong home record suggests Ranieri's side should have the edge.

The Italians are just 4/6 with BoyleSports for a win in 90 minutes but if you add on over 1.5 goals in a bet builder it boosts the odds to 23/20.

This game could be pretty cagey with the tie level after the first leg and that makes the half-time draw appealing at 11/10.

The first leg saw 10 yellows and one red dished out by the ref and tonight's rematch has the potential to boil over too. Over 62.5 booking points looks good at 5/4 with Betfred while a double on defenders Otavio and Gianluca Mancini going in the book pays 15/2 at Bet365.

Galatasaray v AZ Alkmaar top betting tips

Turkish giants Galatasaray have a mountain to climb in their Europa League play-off after losing 4-1 away to AZ Alkmaar in the first leg.

But Gala have scored three or more in six of their last seven home European games so fans might start to believe if they can grab an early goal in Istanbul.

Having Davinson Sanchez, Lucas Torreira and Victor Osimhen back from bans will also boost their chances, although Kaan Ayhan is now suspended after a red card in the first leg.

Nigerian star Osimhen will be a huge threat up front and he's just 5/6 at BoyleSports for a goal. But backing him to score in a Galatasaray win boosts the odds to 5/4 and that looks decent.

The Turkish giants always play a high-tempo attacking game so it bodes well for lots of goals and cards. Over 3.5 strikes pays 21/20 at BoyleSports while over 57.5 booking points looks good at evens with Betfred.

Shamrock Rovers vs Molde top betting tips

In the Conference League, Shamrock Rovers will be looking to finish the job at home to Molde after claiming a shock 1-0 win on the road in last week's first leg,

Molde came out of cold storage in that clash after their winter break and it showed as they drew a blank against the Irish side.

They now need to go for it in the return so this should be a good watch, with over 2.5 goals paying 5/6 at BoyleSports. Adding on BTTS boosts the odds to 13/10.

We only saw five corners in the first leg but Molde's first-half red card made the game more cagey than it should have been. There should be a lot more tonight as the Norwegians chase a comeback and over 10.5 corners pays 11/10.

Thursday's Super Singles

  • Roma win and over 1.5 goals 23/20 BoyleSports
  • Osimhen to score in a Galatasaray win 5/4 BoyleSports
  • Over 10.5 corners in Shamrock Rovers v Molde 11/10 BoyleSports

Deadly double

  • Giancluca Mancini and Otavio to be carded 15/2 Bet365

    AFC Champions League 2

Jeonbuk Hyundai v Port FC 10am

The home side have scored 20 goals across their 7 games in the competition to date. They scored 4 in the reverse fixture a week ago ,that finished 4-0 too the Koreans. They had more possession & won the shot count 15-6 which suggests it was a deserved comprehensive victory rather than a case of the home side not converting their chances(they had 1 shot on taeget)

They could rest on their laurels and play the game out which could result in a low scorer, however happy enough to take the home side to score 3 at better than evens

Jeonbuk Hyundai 3+ team goals 21/20

Just seen the highlights of the Real Madrid game how easy was it for Mbappe. De Bruyne on the bench also. Called that game wrong.

Even on a good day City’s defense is questionable despite the amount of money they’ve spent on them

You’d think with City not having much to play for they would of at least competed last night. They never turned up.

    Panathinaikos vs Vikingur Reykjavik

Bookies have I believe for the first time this season put out full card markets for the conference league. Normally just games that involve teams from the UK & Ireland. They don’t often cover Icelandic teams card market wise but I’m always keen to jump on when they do.

Vikingur carry a 2-1 lead to Greece and can’t see them keeping a clean sheet over there. They aren’t afraid of sticking the boot in and if loosing the tie wouldn’t be surprised to see them racking up the cards. They picked up three yellows in the first leg while Panathinaikos aren’t shy of a card themselves. If Panathinaikos find themselves still trailing as the game wears on can see this one getting pretty feisty. Have a bit of a gut feeling with this tie about a red card being shown somewhere along the line.

    Over 4.5 match cards @ 5/6 (bet365) Nap

    Vikingur over 3.5 cards @ 2/1 (bet365)

Red card in match @ 9/2 (Whill)

    Good luck 🤞
