WELL, it's not often I pick a winner before a game actually starts – but it happened this evening.
Being a Super Bowl expert, I focused not on the match but the pre-match with Christina Aguilera singing the national anthem.
Paddy Power were offering 9-1 it took her longer than 135 seconds but I advised punters to take bodog's 2-1 on more than 110 seconds.
So when she screeched the first note I put on the stopwatch and crossed my fingers.
She raced through the early parts and it didn't look good. But then she got into the zone (the end zone) and as I suggested started milking the moment.
And as she approached the final words and slowed down it was a close call. But dwelling for several seconds on Braaaaaaaaave sealed the deal and I stopped the clock at 113 seconds.
