Erik ten Hag is living on borrowed time at Manchester United and he could be forced closer to the exit if his side lose away to Aston Villa today.
After a 3-0 battering from Tottenham last weekend it looked like Porto would hammer the final nail in his coffin when they came from 2-0 down to lead United 3-2 on Thursday night.
Harry Maguire salvaged a draw after a second successive red card for skipper Bruno Fernandes but it's still four games without a win for the Red Devils.
Villa had a much better time in Europe as they beat Bayern Munich 1-o on Wednesday in a repeat of the 1982 European Cup Final. They will be confident of piling on United's pain but have a terrible home record against them, winning just one of their last 25 in the league.

Although Villa's record at home to Man United is terrible, that one victory did come under Unai Emery in his first game at the helm. With the Red Devils looking demoralised under ten Hag, backing the home win looks good at 11/10 with Betano.
With ten Hag's side conceding three times in each of their last two outings, I'm expecting Villa's forwards to get a few sights of goal. Bet365 are offering 11/10 on Manchester United keeper Andre Onana making over 3.5 saves and that looks worth a punt.

Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest top tips
Enzo Maresca wasn't a popular appointment when the took over at Chelsea in the summer but he's winning plenty of fans over by getting a tune out of their expensively assembled squad.

Ross County vs Celtic top betting tips
It will be fascinating to see how Celtic react in Dingwall today after their 7-1 Champions League thrashing by Dortmund on Tuesday.

Some wild price movements over the last hour in the Aberdeen v Hearts match.
Aberdeen have drifted right out from 7/10 to 10/11, and Hearts have come in from 9/2 in places to just under 3/1.
Not sure why but I’m all over that 10/11 on the Dons. I would’ve happily taken the 8/11 and expected them to be backed into 8/13, but 10/11 is very generous looking.
I know Hearts finally got a win the other night and credit to them, an away win in europe (even v v poor opposition) is always an achievement. So, finally the Jambos should have a little confidence back. That’s the plus point.
On the other hand, it was played at a neutral venue, behind closed doors, and resembled a training game. BUT here’s the real big negative – they had to travel 3,500 miles to Azerbaijan – probably the longest trip you can make in european competition – and then return home again (a 7,000 mile round trip) – a gruelling trip at any time, and not the best preparation for playing the 2nd top side in the league who are flying, and have had 8 days to prepare for this game. The game is also played in Aberdeen – more travel for Hearts, a long coach ride up to Aberdeen.
We’ve seen what happens to SPL sides when they come back from an away European trip to play in the league. St Mirren, Kilmarnock, and Hearts themselves have all struggled badly right after these trips. You can multiply that effect here because of the extreme distance, so I can’t see anything but a Dons victory here.
The price is just wrong IMO, and I’ll be amazed if its anything like 10/11 by KO time.

The woman’s basketball games are at 8pm and 10pm . I have no grand conspiracy tonight, therefore if you are tailing, do so with small money. Especially as I am going to go against the bookies in both games and take NY Liberty to win (away, 8pm) and Lynx to win (away, 10pm) as a 373/100 double.
Liberty lost the game in Vegas 2 nights ago but have beaten Aces in all other 4 games this year, I said that game was fixed and whilst this one could be too, I’m going to go for the better team to take the game and get to the final with a game to spare.
For Lynx, there’s very little between them and the Sun with both teams trading wins this season, but they got the win away two nights ago and I feel the momentum is with them. Sun have to come out attacking and I feel that Lynx can out point them in a toe to toe, as they did two nights ago.

I don’t like many of the lines so don’t have much.
Jackie Young, +3.5 assists 4/5; her season average is around 5 but v same opposition she has hit this line only once in last 3 games. However she put up a lot of points in the last game and I feel she will face a more strenuous defence in this game leading to more passes (instead of shots) and therefore more assists.
Ionescu: points + rebounds over 22.5, 4/5. She had a terrible night in the last game putting up only 4 points but even off form for 5 rebounds. Her prev two games against this opposition she got 24 and 21 points and her season average is 18 so I’m backing a return to her scoring form, 18 points plus 5 rebounds wins this line.
