The Ligue 1 schedule for Sunday has become far more intriguing following the matches over the past two days, with the three remaining games set to be of crucial importance.
Nice and Le Havre, locked in a tight battle at the bottom of the table, are making a desperate bid to survive. Toulouse will make a final push to stay in the race for European qualification, while Lille will defend their spot in the top four. Finally, Lyon will be looking for a win to stay in the top six against the ambitious Lorient.

Today’s Ligue 1 betting tips & predictions
Nice vs. Le Havre (4:15pm)
Both teams are struggling with the same problem—a lack of goals. Le Havre, in particular, is one of the two teams with the fewest goals scored this season.
The main difference between the two teams is their defence. Le Havre have conceded surprisingly few goals for a team at the bottom of the table, while Nice have the second-worst defence in Ligue 1.
But despite everything, if we exclude Nice’s last two home games, the team has shown a visible improvement in their play on their own turf. Four of the last five matches between them and Le Havre have featured goals at both ends and over 2.5 goals in total. There’s a huge amount of risk involved, but the importance of the match leads us to bet on goals.
Nice vs. Le Havre top betting tip: Over 2.5 goals
Toulouse vs. Lille (4:15pm)
On paper, Lille are the team in the best form in Ligue 1, having not lost since early February.
Toulouse have also shown an improvement in form and are quite difficult to beat at home. But Lille are the third-best away team in the league and won their previous match at the Stadium de Toulouse last season.
The last five head-to-head matches have been extremely competitive, with goals scored by both teams. A draw is quite possible here, although this type of result is quite rare in matches between Toulouse and Lille. The visitors are the better side right now, but we expect Toulouse to score at least once as well.

Lyon vs. Lorient (7:45pm)
Lyon continue to struggle and are now on a nine-game winless streak. In three of their last four matches, they didn’t even score a goal.
Lorient’s form has also dipped, but the team remains a dangerous opponent, especially if you’re not in top form. It’s hard to imagine them competing for a European spot, but if they beat Lyon, they’ll take a huge step in that direction.
Given the hosts’ recent matches, it seems quite possible we’ll see a low-scoring game that will be decided by a single goal.
