Sunday's La Liga schedule is entirely focused on the battle for European qualification, as we’ll see many of the teams that still have something to play for.
We will start the day with Celta Vigo, who need to shake off their poor form, and continue with Getafe, who are level on points with them. Later on, we have matches featuring Real Betis and Real Madrid, for whom this round could be crucial.

Today’s La Liga betting tips & predictions
Celta Vigo vs. Elche (1pm)
If Celta Vigo don’t make some changes, they may miss out on a European spot, and Elche’s form is definitely a cause for concern.
Celta Vigo are coming off five straight losses across all competitions, and in La Liga specifically, they’ve lost four of their last five matches. Elche, on the other hand, have won four of their last five matches, putting them just one step away from safety. And if they beat Celta, they’ll even climb to within three points of the top six, which shows just how competitive this league is.
Despite their good form, Elche remain the weakest away team in the league, and we wouldn’t take the risk. But we certainly expect at least one goal, given the improvement they’ve shown.

Getafe vs. Rayo Vallecano (3:15pm)
The poor form of their rivals gives Getafe the chance to potentially pull away in the race for European qualification, but Rayo Vallecano may have other plans.
In fact, if the visitors win, they’ll close the gap to just two points behind Getafe, so this match is absolutely crucial for both teams. However, there is another factor to consider, such as Rayo’s UECL rematch in a few days.
It will certainly be more important for them to qualify for the final, which is why we plan to back Getafe for the win here. We also can’t overlook the fact that Rayo Vallecano hasn’t won an away game in La Liga since mid-October.

Real Betis vs. Real Oviedo (8:30pm)
It’s not too late for Real Oviedo to avoid relegation, and that makes them a very dangerous opponent even against a top-tier team like Real Betis.
The home team can’t exactly boast consistency, unless you count the draws. In that regard, they have five consecutive draws at home. But they rarely score more than one goal, and that is their main problem.
Oviedo have recorded several impressive results lately and have improved offensively. We expect them to capitalize on every mistake because for them, every match is a final.

Espanyol vs. Real Madrid (8pm)
Real Madrid's problems aren't limited to their Champions League elimination, and following the draw with Betis a week ago, it's now almost certain that Barcelona will be crowned champions.
Los Blancos are unlikely to go down without a fight, of course, and will try to win every one of their remaining matches. But their defense is in terrible shape right now, having failed to keep a clean sheet in 10 consecutive La Liga matches.
We plan to take advantage of these problems and bet on both teams to score.
