All in all, there is a lot to look forward to on Sunday, so continue reading below for our expert tips and predictions.
Today’s Bundesliga betting tips & predictions
FC Koln vs. Werder Bremen (2:30pm)
FC Koln and Werder Bremen are fighting the same battle, as they are currently on the brink of the relegation zone.
The difference between the two teams is that the hosts haven’t won since January, while the visitors have won three of their last five matches. That doesn’t mean Werder have any advantage given their performance throughout the season, and this will be an extremely close matchup.
Eight of FC Koln’s last 10 home games have featured goals at both ends. Not many teams have scored and conceded as many goals in home matches, so we can certainly expect action at both ends.

Stuttgart vs. Hamburger (4:30pm)
Stuttgart suffered only their second home loss of the season when they faced Dortmund and now need to bounce back against a far more modest opponent, who, however, defeated them in the reverse fixture back in November.
Hamburger have not yet secured their place in the top flight, but their recent results have helped them climb into a temporary safe zone. However, they score significantly more goals, and that could be a problem for the hosts.
Eight of the last 10 matches between the two teams have ended with over 2.5 goals. Nine out of ten featured goals at both ends. Given the importance of the match for both sides, we expect attacking football from both teams and over 2.5 goals in the final tally.
Stuttgart vs. Hamburger top betting tip: Over 2.5 goals
Mainz vs. Freiburg (6:30pm)
Mainz and Freiburg are unlikely to make it into the top six, so all they can do in the Bundesliga is fight for the highest possible position.
That is certainly taking a back seat right now, because both teams have significantly more important rematches in Europe in four days. That’s why this match is quite unpredictable. If you can skip it, you’d better do so.
We’ll point to Freiburg’s poor form on the road. In the Bundesliga, they’ve won just one of their last six away games. Meanwhile, Mainz haven’t lost at home since early December. To be on the safe side, we’ll go with Draw No Bet. That way, even if the match ends in a draw, we won’t lose.
