KILMARNOCK hit top spot in the Championship with a dramatic derby win at Ayr in midweek and shouldn’t have too much trouble staying at the summit today.

Kilmarnock v Queen of the South

Queen of the South are the visitors to Rugby Park and the Doonhamers have scored just one goal while taking one point from their last three games.

Even struggling Hamilton managed to beat Queens 1-0 in midweek so Killie should have too much for Allan Johnston’s men.

Heavy rain could put a few games in doubt today but the Rugby Park plastic pitch should be able to soak it up without any danger.

A Kilmarnock win to nil could be the shout and that bet pays 17/10 with McBookie.

Callum Hendry and Oli Shaw are strikers who should probably be playing in the Premiership.

It was Shaw who hit the winner in midweek but I fancy Hendry today and he’s 13/10 with McBookie to grab his fourth goal since joining Killie.

Partick Thistle v Inverness

Inverness were knocked off top after a home defeat to Arbroath in midweek and it’s now two games without a win for Caley Thistle.

A trip to Firhill is another test of mettle today and it should be a tight game.

Partick have drawn a blank in their last two after scoring freely earlier in the campaign.

Under 2.5 goals has also come up in the last three for Inverness so try that bet today, although the odds aren’t great at a best 4/5 with William Hill.

Betting on the half-time draw might be a wiser call at 11/10 with McBookie.

Arbroath v Dunfermline

Arbroath’s midweek win has left them just four points off the top and they now host draw specialists Dunfermline.

Six of the last seven games have ended level for the Pars and their failure to claim a victory has left them bottom of the pile.

Inverness are the only team to have won at Gayfield all season and it won’t be easy for the Pars if the wind is howling on Halloween weekend.

Betting against BTTS looks the shout here and it pays 11/10 with BetVictor.

Morton’s clash with Hamilton is too close to call but I fancy Raith to beat Ayr at home and they are a best 22/23 at VBet.

Cove Rangers v Queen's Park

There’s a huge game in League One as Cove host Queen’s Park knowing a win will take them top.

The normally deadly Mitch Megginson has scored just once in his last nine but I’m backing him to get back on track with a goal here (13/8, McBookie).

Kelty Hearts v Stirling Albion

There’s another first v second clash in League Two as Kelty host Stirling and goal machine Nathan Austin looks good value at 11/10 (McBookie) to score.

Super Singles

  • Kilmarnock win to nil (17/10, McBookie)
  • Raith to beat Ayr (22/20, VBet)

Anytime Scorer Double

  • Mitch Megginson and Nathan Austin (451/100, McBookie)

McBookie Bet Builder

  • Combining the half-time draw with under 3.5 goals at Firhill pays 110/100.
