SlipsTips shares his favourite fancy ahead of Switzerland and Spain's Euro 2020 quarter-final showdown on Friday evening.
Switzerland vs Spain (Friday, 17:00)
The first quarter-final tie of Euro 2020 pits Switzerland against three-times winners Spain in St Petersburg on Friday evening.
The Swiss delivered the biggest shock of the tournament so far by staging a stunning comeback to send tournament favourites France packing.
On the same day, Spain sealed their passage to the last-eight with a frantic 5-3 extra time win over Croatia after leading 3-1 in normal time.
Luis Enrique's side have blown hot and cold at this summer's showpiece so far but they are now ranked as second favourites to conquer the continent.
As such, Spain are a general 4/6 with most bookies to swat aside Switzerland in St Petersburg and secure a semi-final berth.
Indeed, Switzerland will be up against the odds here, but Vladimir Petkovic's side are priced up at 10/11 (SkyBet) to hit three or more corners during this contest and that price makes appeal.
Granted, star-studded Spain are expected to dominate possession for long stages in this match, but Switzerland were mighty impressive against world champions France last time out.
Petkovic's preferred system focuses on width from his wing-backs and three or more flag kicks doesn't look like too much to ask given that Spain haven't looked particularly watertight thus far.
The Swiss racked up five flag kicks against much-fancied France, not to mention they chalked up 20 corners across their two group stage matches with Turkey and Wales respectively.
What's more, the Swiss could well find themselves chasing the game in St Petersburg and that only adds to the appeal of siding with three or more Switzerland corners at a value 10/11 with SkyBet.
