Scottish Football Tips: Go unders at Celtic

I TIPPED Hibs to run Celtic close at the weekend – now it's the turn of Edinburgh rivals Hearts.

Hibs +2 came in at Parkhead at 5-4 and Tuesday's match promises to be another tight affair.

Brendan Rodgers's only domestic defeat came at Tynecastle last month and his side will be keen to avenge that 4-0 drubbing.

It won't be easy though as the Jambos are unbeaten in 11 and conceded their first goal in nine games in injury time against Motherwell at the weekend.

Celtic haven't been at their best and have lost Craig Gordon and Leigh Griffiths so look short at 1-4 at Marathonbet.

Hearts are 16-1 at Paddy Power to repeat their Tynecastle triumph while a draw pays 11-2 at McBookie.

As they did against Hibs I can see a narrow win for Celtic and Hearts +2 returns 6-5 at Ladbrokes.

Ten of Hearts' previous 12 have gone under 2.5 goals and that pays 33-25 at Marathonbet. To keep a clean sheet Craig Levein's men are 10-1 at Coral.

Without Griffiths and doubts surrounding Moussa Dembele until the window closes tomorrow Rodgers could start Odsonne Edouard who is 16-5 at Paddy Power to score first.

In the Scottish Cup Inverness entertain Dundee in a replay after a 2-2 draw at Dens and Cove travel to Formartine.

Inverness' previous four matches have gone over 3.5 goals and both to score looks the call here at 4-5 with William Hill while Cove should win at 8-13 with McBookie.

In League Two Peterhead head to Berwick aiming to bounce back from last weekend's shock defeat at Clyde.

Berwick ended a run of five games without a goal by beating basement boys Cowdenbeath 3-1 but Peterhead have won eight out of 10 on the road and can be included on accas at 1-2 with McBookie.
