NOW I know why locals call them Peterheid! They certainly drove myself and followers of this bet off their heids last Saturday.
All we needed was a Peterhead goal in the last 20 minutes to bring up the fivefold – and they couldn't oblige.
I've tipped both teams to score in the last nine weekend Scottish Third Division matches – and 17 out of 18 have done the business. So Shame on you Peterheid.
Not surprisingly I'm starting this weekend's effort in the Third but I'll include games form other leagues too.
So first up it's a clash between the top two at Recreation Park, Alloa v Queen's Park. Alloa were the one team to keep a clean sheet last week but will struggle to shut out a Queen's side who have hit seven in their last two against Clyde and Berwick.
At home Alloa have lost just once this season and and beat Queen's 1-0 last December but the Glasgow side have firepower in the shape of Jamie Longworth to do some damage and their two meetings at Hampden saw both score.
Next take Stranraer v East Stirling. I wouldn't normally look at a side sitting third v the basement boys. But Stranraer have been conceding and Shire, sixth on the form ratings, have been scoring.
Stranraer's last four have featured 17 goals with both scoring while Shire's last three have totalled 19 with both on target, including a 5-1 defeat at Alloa and 6-3 win against Peterheid.
Shire lost 6-0 at Stair Park earlier in the season but drew 2-2 when they met at Ochilview last month.
My third choice from the Third Division is Annan v Montrose, a fixture that has seem both teams score in the last five meetings, including three this season.
I'm reluctantly leaving out the two other games and heading for the Second Division where Forfar v Stirling has goals written all over it. Three meetings this season have produced 14 goals, including two 2-2s.
Forfar lost 3-0 at Airdrie at the weekend but prior to that both had scored in their previous five with 21 goals in total. Stirling have only failed to score once in six and played well to hold Arbroath to a score draw last weekend.
Complete the fivefold with Falkirk v Livingston which should be a fiery affair as ex-Bairns boss John Hughes returns to town. Yogi's reign hasn't got off to the best start and last weekend's 4-0 defeat at Hamilton was a disaster. But Livi have netted in five of their last six and those games have averaged exactly four goals.
Falkirk's title hopes are all but over after last weekend's defeat at Ross County but they will want a strong finish to the season in case second place means something. Steven Pressley's men have also netted in five of their last six and both have scored in the three meetings this season, including a 4-3 at the Falkirk Stadium.
Returns on the fivefold are just over 9-1 with William Hill. That will do me nicely but if it doesn't grab boost the line with the next two on my list, Hibs v Dundee United and Partick Thistle v Ross County.
Both teams to score
Alloa v Queen's Park
Stranraer v East Stirling
Annan v Montrose
Forfar v Stirling
Falkirk v Livingston

Pays a biggest £103.50 for a £10 stake at William Hill
Paul I get if returning at £103.50 for £10 stake with William Hill so they must have increased the odds slightly. I’m on £50 straight acc again. Hopefully we will get one up as we have been very unlucky the last couple of weekends.
OK, I’ll update the odds.
Knew I should have don’t Rondonbto score at anytime instead of first and last. Just threw £100 on santos game first goal to be scored in under 20 mins at 10/11 to try and get my £100 back.
Ok, good luck with that. Santos are so short you’d expect to score heavily but might not be in rush. It looks like a 3-0 or thereabouts to me. When does it start?
1am and it appears they were in no rush. Waste of £100
Lol infact they scored in 15th minute so just won my £100 back mate. Live score must be delayed as it was showing 0-0 at 20 mins. Neymar didn’t score either so luckily for me there was no option of first goalscorer
Chris, Neymar scored the second but I couldn’t get a first scorer either. Plenty of markets on the game but strangely no first scorer.
Chris I think u have a gambling problem haha :)
I like to see it as a profession Lol
Think I’ll use that one from now on, I was nervous for you the other night with them first and last goalscorer bets. You went for that big time!

Chris, good luck with Wolfsburg, I’ll be on them too as a single and hopefully reinvest the winnings tomorrow. Cheers for the moneyback heads up, I’ll be highlighting the Old Firm one in tomorrow’s Record.
No problem Paul. Yeah i’m trying to get my balance up for tomorrow mate. If Wolfsburg win it will take me up to £300 in Paddy Power account. Fingers crossed.
Btts looking good Paul 8 out of 10 scored already and it’s only ht!
Unbelievable bad luck again. 3 weeks in a row 9 out of 10 teams scoring again. Very sore when you have £50 accumulator on it for past 3 weeks
Chris, it’s sod’s law. But we still can’t persuade you to perm them.
