Premier League betting tips

There's some blockbuster fixtures in the Premier League on a Super Saturday, kicking off with Manchester City's trip to Aston Villa.

The league leaders are out to continue their perfect start but it won't be easy against a Villa side who have found a bit of form.

A busy day climaxes with a tasty London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, while champions Arsenal are also in action at home to Everton.

Here's how our top team of experts see the Saturday Premier League action panning out…

Saturday's Premier League betting tips and predictions

Aston Villa vs Manchester City (12:30)

Aston Villa v Man City

Tipster: The Betting Desk

Manchester City have made a perfect start to the Premier League, with seven successive wins taking them to the top of the table.

But City have failed to win on any of their last four visits to Villa Park and face another tough test against Unai Emery's men.

Tip one: City win and over 1.5 goals

Enzo Maresca's men have scored eight times in three Premier League away fixtures while conceding just once. So the stats point towards a City win with over 1.5 goals at 4/5.

Tip two: BTTS and over 2.5 goals

Aston Villa have been vulnerable in defence so far this season but have been scoring freely of late so BTTS and over 2.5 goals stands a decent chance at 17/20.

Tip three: Erling Haaland anytime scorer

Manchester City's top scorer got the night off in midweek after suffering a minor injury in last weekend's win over Ipswich. He should be back to the lead the attack here and is 20/23 for yet another goal.

Coventry City vs Fulham (15:00)

Coventry v Fulham

Tipster: Greg McLean

Fulham finally got their first Premier League win on the board last time out and if they can follow it up with a win away to Coventry it will lift them out of the drop zone.

But it won't be easy against Frank Lampard's men, who have won two of their last three after adapting to the rigours of England's top flight.

Tip one: Over 2.5 goals

This bet has landed in three of the last four for Coventry City and also came up in Fulham's last away game at Ipswich. A repeat in this one pays 8/11.

Tip two: Joshua King to be shown a card

Fulham's teenage star has been a bit petulant of late, collecting yellow cards in his last three matches. So he looks a bit overpriced at 7/2 to go into the book again.

Arsenal vs Everton (15:00)

Arsenal v Everton

Tipster: Greg McLean

Arsenal showed plenty of character to claim a 2-2 Champions League draw at Bayern Munich in midweek and are heavy favourites to see off Everton back on domestic duty.

But that trip to Germany took a lot out of Mikel Arteta's men and they have some injury issues so the Toffees might fancy their chances of springing a shock.

Tip one: Arsenal to win and under 3.5 goals

The Gunners have won 10 of their 12 games in all competitions but their last five matches have all seen under 3.5 goals. That makes the narrow home win appealing at 11/10 here.

Tip two: Arsenal win to nil

Everton lost twice to the Gunners and last season and failed to get on the scoresheet in both matches. Another win to nil for Mikel Arteta's men pays 5/4.

Tip three: Declan Rice to score or assist

Arsenal's midfield general had a superb game in Munich in midweek and rescued a point by scoring a terrific equaliser. He's 2/1 to either grab another goal or set one up here.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur (17:30)

Chelsea v Tottenham

Tipster: The Betting Desk

Tottenham will be hoping Monday's 3-1 win over Coventry sparks their season into life but they could come crashing back down to earth in this London derby.

Chelsea have played some sparkling football so far under Xabi Alonso and will relish piling more misery on Spurs.

Tip one: Chelsea win and over 1.5 goals

Chelsea have an abundance of riches in attack and should get some joy against a Tottenham defence weakened by a few injury issues. Backing a home win with over 1.5 goals pays 4/5.

Tip two: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals

Spurs struggled for goals earlier in the season but have netted in their last four and may get some joy against a Chelsea defence that has been leaking goals. Combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals pays 17/20.

Tip three: Archie Gray to win 1+ fouls 10/11

There's no love lost between these clubs and we could see plenty of fouls. Backing Tottenham kid Archie Gray to win one or more fouls pays a decent 10/11.
