Bitter rivals Dunfermline and Falkirk do battle at East End Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Pars kicked off their season with a 2-0 loss at recently-relegated Livingston last weekend.
Falkirk, in contrast, marked their return to the Scottish Championship with a 2-1 win over Queen’s Park.
The Bairns appear to be in good shape after last season’s unbeaten campaign and they should find the back of the net at least once in Fife.
East Fife To Score 2+
East Fife will be aiming to bounce back from last weekend’ setback when they entertain Edinburgh City on Saturday.
Dick Campbell’s side crashed to a 4-2 defeat away at Elgin on the opening Saturday of the SPFL season.
Edinburgh also came away from their first league of the season empty handed after suffering a last-gasp 2-1 defeat at home to Stirling.
The Meadowbank club have shipped two goals or more in all five of their matches this season and that run should continue at Bayview.
Raith Rovers vs Partick Thistle – Over 2.5 Goals
Scottish Championship title favourites Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle meet at Starks Park on Saturday.
Rovers slumped to a 1-0 loss at Airdrie last weekend and promptly decided to part company with manager Ian Murray the following day.
Thistle also dropped points on day one, as they were held to a goalless draw at home to Morton.
Over 2.5 goals copped in four of the six meetings between the pair last season and another entertaining clash is the call in Kirkcaldy.
