It looks a tough day for punters in the Premier League where Tottenham look the most assured bet at home to Crystal Palace.
Oliver Glasner started his tenure as Eagles boss with a win against Burnley last week but things should be a whole lot tougher today.
He’s still got a raft of injuries to contend with and an abysmal record for Palace in this fixture to overcome.
11 of Spurs 13 home games have seen both teams score and Tottenham have scored two or more in nine in North London. It’s 11/10 for Palace to score and Spurs to score two or more.
Ange Postecoglou’s men have scored three or more in three of their last six at home and they shouldn’t be too far away from that mark at 6/4 today.
It’s been quite the week for Liverpool. An EFL Cup final win was followed up with a convincing 3-0 victory over Southampton with several kids making a name for themselves.
Jurgen Klopp may need to call on a few of them again today for a tricky tie against Nottingham Forest. The Reds have failed to win in 13 visits to the City Ground, going back 30 years.
With Man City and Arsenal breathing down their necks they can’t afford to slip up. They feel a bit short at 8/15 given their injuries so look for a bigger price of 5/1 on them coming from behind to win – they’ve won 22 points from losing positions, a league high.
Everton should be bouyed by the return of four of the ten points they had been deducted. That’s lifted them up to 15th in the table but they’ve not won in eight league games.
Despite that they’re 21/20 favourites to beat former boss Davie Moyes’ West Ham. It feels like a match that could go either way but the Toffees are long overdue a win and could just edge it.
The early evening match sees Luton welcome Aston Villa to Kenilworth Road. The Hatters have conceded 17 in their last five games but Rob Edwards won’t be too despondent given the calibre of opponents he’s faced (with the exception of Sheffield United!)
They’ve fared reasonably well at home despite losing eight of 13. Town have found the net in 13 of their last Premier League games and are 1/3 to score this evening or a tasty 6/4 to score two or more against an Aston Villa side that’s only kept three clean sheets on the road.
With an average of 3.23 goals per game in the Premier League goals are always worth considering. All six of today’s 3pm kick-offs to finish Over 2.5 Goals is 15/1.
The Neil Warnock experiment doesn’t seem to be working out at Aberdeen. The 75-year-old has yet to wins a game as Dons boss and aren’t fancied to do so today at St Mirren.
The Buddies have a good record against the Dons, especially in Paisley where they’re unbeaten in six in the fixture (W4 D2) and the home win is 5/4.
Relentless Rangers host Motherwell and can open up a five point gap at the top of the Premiership with Celtic not in action until tomorrow at Lunchtime against Hearts.
The Gers are just 1/7 to win but could be a bit of value to also keep a clean sheet at 5/6. Keeper Jack Butland has been tipped for an England return and he boasts clean sheets in 61% of games this season.
Dundee Utd have a huge opportunity to put some daylight between themselves and Raith Rovers after a surprise 3-2 defeat for the Rovers at Arbroath last night.
They visit Firhill today to play Partick Thistle who are winless in the five in the league (D3 L2) but are still among the goals. There’s been 7, 4, 6 and 5 goals scored in their last four matches and the 94 goals scored in their 25 league games is unmatched in Scotland. Over 2.5 goals should probably be shorter than 7/10 and the 21/20 on BTTS and O2.5 appeals.

Heading over to Switzerland for my single today where in the challenge league second placed thun place bottom club fc baden. The only recent h2hs saw thun win 2-0 away and 6-0 at home. With baden having a goal difference of -27 against the +16 of thun I see quite a few goals to be had for the home team.
Thun 3+ goals at 11/10 seems appealing and will be my main bet
Thun 4+ goals is 3/1 and I will go for a smaller bet on this too.
Will post up a double or treble a bit later

Bet 365 & PaddyPower
There hasn’t been much between these sides in the last year or two. We’ve had a lot of rain and snow in the northern counties all week and conditions are going to be heavy. Teams don’t get big scores in Celtic park and tonight should be no different. This score line has been set high when you see that the average total points scored in their two meetings in 2023 was 28. Given the likely poor conditions of a soggy pitch, I’m thinking scores are going to be hard to come by.

Ferencvarosi W vs MTK W
Plzen W vs Sparta Prague W
Fancy a mix of these games to see goals in early afternoon kick offs. Rosenborg vs Molde should produce a fair few with both teams seeing overs in their first two group games and a history of high scoring affairs. Il take it as a single/Nb because I follow these leagues a bit closer than I do the women’s games listed.
Ferencvarosi W are good for a goal and aren’t often listed because of this so took my interest. Even against an MTK team who are sitting 3rd in the table they should score a few and there’s potential for both teams to contribute, with 34 goals from their last 5 meetings together I’m hoping for more of the same. Sparta W should win today and score a few, they put 6 past the same opponents when they last played in October and overs has landed in the last 5 fixtures between the pair.
Good luck ?

Pains me to say it as a Blade but Sheff Wed look a very good price away at Rotherham today. They’ve won three of the last four. Rotherham haven’t won since boxing day and it’s another game where they’ve not got a full bench.
My acca for today,
