IT'S a big weekend at the bottom of the Premier League table as the four favourites for the drop all face each other.

Freefalling Everton are in desperate need of a lift after taking no points from their first four games and crashing out of the EFL Cup to Southampton on penalties.

The bookies still think Sean Dyche's men will dodge the drop, with Leicester, Ipswich and Saints above them in the betting. But that might change if the lose at the King Power Stadium today and fall five points behind the Foxes.

A virus swept through Dyche's squad in midweek and Leicester will be out to make Everton feel even more sick by piling on the misery.

Leicester City vs Everton top betting tips

With Leicester having home advantage and in better form than Everton, they could be worth a punt for the win today at 29/20 with Betano.

Backing a tense and tight game is probably safer and the half-time draw pays 23/20 while betting against a goal in both halves is 20/21.

With both teams so desperate for a victory it could be a busy day for the ref. Over 4.5 cards pays 10/11 with Bet365 while Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure is 12/5 to go into the book.

Southampton vs Ipswich Town top tips

Southampton are the only other Premier League side yet to collect a point and they will be going all out for a win when Ipswich Town come calling.

Although this is another six-pointer in the drop battle, it could be a more entertaining game as Saints will stick to their principles and play out from the back.

Ipswich have plenty of firepower up front so I fancy goals, with BTTS and over 2.5 goals paying 39/40 in a Betano bet builder.

Saints kid Tyler Dibling caught the eye in their loss to Manchester United last weekend and the winger looks good at 5/4 for an effort on target at Bet365 if he starts again.

Kalvin Phillips has started the last two games for Ipswich and the midfielder is 15/8 at Bet365 for a second card this term.

Sunderland vs Middlesbrough top betting tips

There's a cracker of a derby in the Championship today as high-flying Sunderland host a dangerous Middlesbrough side.

Although Boro sit 10th at the moment, they have a squad that's capable of mounting a promotion challenge and a win today could send them into the play-off places.

Second-placed Sunderland suffered their first Championship defeat at Plymouth last week but are Betano's 7/5 favourites with home advantage.

The half-time draw is always a good option in a derby and that pays 11/10 here. Going for cards usually pays off in these kind of games too and over 5.5 cards pays 29/20 at Unibet.

Rangers vs Dundee top betting tips

Rangers make their long-awaited return to Ibrox today as they take on Dundee in the quarter-finals of the League Cup.

Reconstruction work on a stand still isn't finished so there will be a reduced capacity but fans will be glad to be home after a temporary residence at Hampden.

Gers responded to their painful derby defeat by grinding out a 1-0 win at Dundee United but there should be more thrills when the Dark Blues come calling.

Their Ibrox games with the Dark Blues ended in 3-1 and 5-2 wins last term so going for goals looks the best option today.

Combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals pays 21/20 at Bet365 while Rangers winger Valclav Cerny is 6/4 with the same firm for anytime scorer. The Czech missed out last week with illness but should return today.

For a long-odds punt, Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers is 14/1 to go into the book at Bet365 and has already collected two yellows this term.

Just realised PP have lowered my paddy rewards club to £5 free bet and I’ve been putting £10 bets on, is this the same for everyone?? Would’ve just got best odds elsewhere if I knew and stuck 5 BB’s on wi them. Anyway…

    St Mirren v Hearts – 4+ cards
Ross County v St Johnstone – 4+ cards
    Villa v Wolves – 9+ corners
    Southampton v Ipswich – 9+ corners
    Rangers v Dundee – 4+ corners

Rangers games just get acca insurance but Southampton game looks prime for corners.
