Saturday’s football tips: Do Gunners have the firepower to shoot down Hammers?

Liverpool's stuttering form has opened the door a little for Arsenal in the title race and they can cut the gap at the top of the Premier League to five points with a win over West Ham today.

The leaders could only draw at Aston Villa in midweek and face another tough away day against champions Manchester City tomorrow so the Gunners simply can't afford a slip-up at the Emirates this afternoon.

But do they have enough firepower to keep themselves in the title race with the likes of Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli all sidelined with injuries?

Arsenal vs West Ham United top betting tips

It looked like Arsenal were going to drop two costly points last week at Leicester until Mikel Arteta threw on midfielder Mikel Merino as an emergency striker.

They looked much more threatening with a physical presence up front so the Gunners boss may be tempted to start Merino there against the Hammers.

If he does, the former Real Sociedad star could be worth a punt at 7/4 for anytime scorer with BoyleSports but I'm backing another Arsenal man to do some damage.

Everton vs Manchester United top betting tips

David Moyes has transformed Everton since returning to Goodison Park and will fancy his chances of piling on the pain for his old club Manchester United today.

The Red Devils head to Merseyside reeling from a dismal 1-0 loss at Tottenham last weekend and their injury-hit side looks desperately short on confidence.

The Toffees, on the other hand, are brimming with belief so they look worth a punt at 6/4 with BoyleSports given they have home advantage.

Chelsea have dropped out of the Premier League top four after a poor run of results and have another tough assignment on the road at Aston Villa tonight.

The Blues are coming off back-to-back defeats to Brighton in the league and cup, games where they lacked punch up front. So Villa could be worth a punt at 6/4, although fatigue might be an issue after a draining midweek game with leaders Liverpool.

Jadon Sancho should start on the wing for Chelsea with Noni Madueke injured and he looks decent value at 11/8 with BoyleSports just to have an effort on target.

The midfield battle should be tasty and Villa skipper John McGinn is a tempting 6/4 with Bet365 to commit over 1.5 fouls.

Hibernian vs Celtic top betting tips

It will be interesting to see how SPFL Premiership leaders Celtic respond today after their heartbreaking midweek exit from the Champions League in Munich.

A lunchtime kick-off with Hibs in the capital is a tough test for their weary limbs, especially with the Easter Road side on a 12-game unbeaten run since losing 3-0 in Glasgow in the last meeting.
