Following the Serie A teams’ dreadful performances in the Champions League this week, on Saturday we’ll see three of the losers looking to bounce back from their defeats.

Napoli, Inter Milan and Roma all suffered similarly heavy defeats, conceding at least three goals each. On paper, their upcoming league fixtures should be easier, but let’s take a closer look at them.

Below you’ll find our expert tips and predictions for all Serie A matches on Saturday.

Today’s Serie A betting tips & predictions

Venezia vs. Napoli (2pm)

Venice’s latest defeat has led to a change of manager, with Davide Nicola taking charge of the team as they seek their first points of the season and, ultimately, survival.

Napoli suffered a heavy defeat in Spain this week, but at least they are making progress in Serie A following a poor start. On paper, there’s no easier match than this, given that the Arancioneroverde have lost each of their six Serie A matches since the start of the season.

I’m surprised at how good the odds are for Napoli, and I simply have to take advantage of this.

Bologna vs. Inter Milan (5pm)

Inter Milan will be looking to bounce back from yet another Champions League defeat when they travel to face Bologna, who won their first match of the season last weekend.

Bologna’s season has got off to the worst possible start, with the only positive we can highlight in their performances being that they have lost by narrow margins and have conceded more than one goal on just one occasion in six matches.

The fact that Inter have only one win in their last six away matches at this ground should certainly motivate them, but in my view, their recent defeat will motivate the Nerazzurri far more, and they will go into this match with a fierce desire to win.а.

AS Roma vs. Genoa (7:45pm)

Roma’s form is undeniable, but this week we saw yet again that 10 minutes against Real Madrid in the Champions League can be far too long. The Wolves were leading 3–1 until the 80th minute, yet still lost 4–3.

They now host Genoa, led by Roma legend Daniele De Rossi. The visitors secured their first win last weekend, but that doesn’t change the fact that their away form is dreadful.

Not to mention that they’ve managed just one win in their last 40 away matches against Roma, which is a terrifying statistic. I don’t expect anything to change tomorrow, and I’ll be backing Roma to bounce back after their heavy defeat.
