The standings in the Bundesliga are so tight that there’s hardly a team left with nothing to play for in the remaining three rounds.
So every one of the six matches on Saturday’s schedule carries weight and is worth watching. The champion is already decided, but the battle for European spots is heating up, especially with the possibility of additional spots.
In the following lines, you’ll find our expert tips and predictions for all Bundesliga matches.
Today’s Bundesliga betting tips & predictions
Bayern Munich vs. Heidenheim (2:30pm)
Bayern took part in one of the most iconic matches in Champions League history, losing 5-4. The good news is that they have a rematch coming up in just a few days, and it’s in Germany.
So a match against bottom-of-the-table Heidenheim is a great opportunity to get pumped up with a win before the big rematch.
Even if Vincent Kompany were to field 11 substitutes—which, of course, won’t happen—Bayern Munich should be able to handle this match, and we expect the usual 3–4 goals from them.
Bayern Munich vs. Heidenheim top betting tip: Over 3.5 goals
Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Hamburger (2:30pm)
Although Eintracht have no chance of finishing in the top six, the strong performances of their Bundesliga counterparts in UEFA competitions almost guarantee that Germany will have additional spots in next year’s tournaments.
Theoretically, the Bundesliga could end up with nine teams in Europe, and the Eagles are currently in a promising seventh place. Now they face a match against Hamburger, who have not yet secured their survival.
Both teams have been involved in high-scoring matches recently and have similar defensive issues. We expect plenty of goals in this match.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Hamburger top betting tip: Over 2.5 goals
Hoffenheim vs. Stuttgart (2:30pm)
There are matches that are said to be worth six points, and this is exactly one of them. Hoffenheim and Stuttgart are neck and neck with the same number of points in the race for the Champions League, and the winner will gain a huge advantage.
Both teams are in similarly inconsistent form, making it difficult to distinguish between their recent performances. But this suggests we can expect goals again, even though their first match of the season ended 0-0.
We certainly don’t expect a similar outcome, despite the importance of this match, and we plan to go with Both Teams to Score.

Union Berlin vs. FC Koln (2:30pm)
Union Berlin and FC Koln are neck and neck in the standings, and a win in this match will almost certainly guarantee them another season in the top flight.
Both teams are far from their best form, but Union has certainly been the team struggling more recently. FC Koln, at least, rarely loses, having suffered just one defeat in their last six matches.
Defensively, both teams are terrible. Offensively, they are evenly matched. A draw looks like a good option, and we’d pick 1-1 as the exact score.

Werder Bremen vs. Augsburg (2:30pm)
Augsburg looks set to finish the season in mid-table, unless they win their last three matches and Eintracht lose theirs. Werder Bremen, meanwhile, are just one win away from avoiding relegation.
We may see less action in the first half of the match, given the importance of the game. We expect the teams to pick up the pace in the second half.
As our main bet, we’re going with over 1.5 goals in the second half, but we’re definitely tempted by the option for both teams to score in the second half. However, this is a bet with a very low chance of success, so skip it unless it’s a single bet.
Werder Bremen vs. Augsburg top betting tip: Over 1.5 goals in the second half
Bayer Leverkusen vs. RB Leipzig (5:30pm)
The highlight of Saturday’s schedule features two teams locked in a battle for a Champions League spot. RB Leipzig are in a far stronger position, while a loss for Bayer Leverkusen would significantly reduce their chances.
And right now, the Red Bulls look unbeatable. They have seven wins in their last eight matches, scoring 2+ goals in each one.
Every single one of the last five matches between RB and Bayer has featured goals at both ends and a minimum of four goals in total. The entire round of matches looks perfect for goal bets, but this fixture certainly feels like it could be a real thriller.
