NEWCASTLE UNITED'S sluggish start to the Premier League season seems like a world away as the Magpies look to continue their resurgence with a win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
After the high of qualifying for the Champions League, it looked like there might be a hangover at St James' Park when Eddie Howe's side lost three of their opening four Premier League fixtures.
Juggling the demands of continental and domestic football had the potential to upset Newcastle further but the Magpies stepped up a gear instead, going on an eight-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
That came to an end on Wednesday night as Borussia Dortmund won at St James' Park and Howe will be determined to get back on track straight away on domestic duty.
But Molineux is a tough venue to visit off the back of a tough midweek game and champions Manchester City have already slipped up away from home against Gary O'Neil's men, in a game where a card bet landed for Slips Tips.

There has been nothing between these sides in recent seasons, with the last 10 meetings producing two wins apiece and six draws. Newcastle just edged it last term, with a 1-1 draw at Molineux followed by a 2-1 win for the Magpies at St James' Park.
Players to watch
Korean striker Hee-Chan Hwang has been in fine form so far this season, netting seven times in 14 games for club and country. He has been the focal point of the Wolves attack and looks overpriced at 4/1 with Bet365 for another goal here. He's also 11/10 at Unibet just to have a shot on target and that looks well worth a punt.
Anthony Gordon took time to make an impact at Newcastle after his move from Everton but the young winger has caught the eye this season. The England Under-21 hero is 19/5 at Unibet for a goal while McBookie price him at 7/2 for an assist.

Six of the last nine meetings have ended in 1-1 draws so you could do a lot worse than back that scoreline at 15/2 with Bet365. The half-time draw also appeals and that pays 7/5 with Unibet.
Newcastle took a bit of time to get going after their last Champions League game and fell behind to West Ham before salvaging a 2-2 draw. Wolves will start with plenty of energy so it could pay to back them to score first at 9/5 with BetVictor.
