SHEFFIELD UNITED and Blackburn Rovers are battling it out to join surely Burnley in the Premier League next season and they meet in an all-Championship clash in the FA Cup quarter finals.
The Blades are in second place in the table and stand to win automatic promotion and are nine points ahead of Rovers who are in fifth and in the play-offs place.
Former Hibs boss Paul Heckingbottom has done a decent job with the Yorkshire club in the league and in the FA Cup, they stunned Spurs in the last round in a fantastic night for them. They have also defeated Millwall and survived a scare against non-league Wrexham to go through after a replay.
However, inconsistency has cost them some ground in the league having lost four of their last seven games.
Jon Dahl Tomasson's side are having a good season in the cups – they got to the quarter finals of the League Cup and the highlight of their season was dumping Leicester City out of the FA Cup. They have also eased past fellow Championship sides Norwich City and Birmingham City to get to that stage.

The clubs have already met twice in the league this season and the games produced a hone win apiece – 1-0 at Ewood Park and 3-1 at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield United are strong at home and only Burnley have scored more goals than them on their own patch. But they have stalled slightly recently and look worth taking on here.
Rovers look far too big here and while the 5/1 to win is a big ask, the 5/4 for the double chance of a win or a draw looks a decent shout against a Blades side who have not been at their best in recent weeks as we approach the business end of the campaign.
