NOTTINGHAM FOREST entertain Everton on Saturday night at home with the hosts suddenly now nine points better off than their visitors.
Everton are still fuming over their ten point deduction in the Premier League which has seen them plummet into the relegation zone with just four points on the board.
There was a highly charged atmosphere last week at Goodison Park, but it fell somewhat flat as Manchester United finally turned in one of their better performances with an easy win.
Prior to that Everton had looked decent and had won three out of their last four games in all competitions.
For Forest, they could do with some more wins. They've only won three league games this season and draws have cost them a higher position – they have shared the spoils in four of them.
And they must be annoyed to have lost both of the last couple of games in five-goal thrillers having being defeated at West Ham and to Brighton at home.
Still, wins over high-flying Aston Villa at the City Ground and away to Stamford Bridge give a glimmer of the potential in Steve Cooper's side.
How the bookies view it
There's not much between the sides although Everton are marginal favourites across the board. Sean Dyche's men can be backed at 8/5 with bet365.
Nottingham Forest are available at 9/5 with Coral and the draw is 12/5 with William Hill.
Recent head to heads
Last season there were a pair of 2-2 draws at both grounds and that was the first time they had been in the same league for 24 years.
Forst haven't beaten Everton at home since 1995.
Players to watch
Anthony Elanga has scored in his last two games for Forest and the former Manchester United star is 4/1 to score anytime on Saturday night with Unibet.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin went through a purple patch where he scored in three games in a row but he's not netted since October and the Everton striker will be desperate to end that. He is 12/5 with bet365 to change that.
Anything else catch the eye?
Go for a Forest win here. The hosts have been unlucky recently and are due a result. They showed what they could do at home to Villa and can take advantage of Everton being thrown into turmoil.
They didn't cope at all well with the pressure and emotion last week and they have suddenly found they have to start collecting points sharpish.
Neither defence looks watertight either and that should lead to goals, with both teams conceding three goals last week.
You can get odds against with UniBet for over 2.5 goals at 17/16 and that should mean a visit to the collect desk.
