Napoli will take on Frankfurt in the Champions League on Tuesday, 4 November, in one of the most important clashes of this week's round of fixtures from the competition.
Both sides are on three points after three games, which leaves their qualification hopes firmly in the balance. Last season, 16 points were needed to qualify for the Round of 16, while 11 were needed to qualify for the playoffs.
A defeat for either side here would leave them with an uphill task ahead of their final four matches of the league phases.
How the bookies view it: Napoli are favourites
Napoli come into the match as the favourites with the bookmakers, with home advantage perhaps being viewed as the decisive factor. The Italian side have been priced at 6/10 to get the win by BoyleSports, while a win for Frankfurt has been priced at 15/4. The draw, which wouldn't do either side any favours, has been priced at 3/1.
Head to head: Advantage Napoli
These two teams last met in a Round of 16 clash during the 2022/23 Champions League season. Napoli were dominant across both legs, winning 2-0 in Germany before finishing the job with a 3-0 victory at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Players to watch: Ex-PL stars to shine?
Napoli's success in recent times has been built on recruiting players who were deemed surplus to requirements in the Premier League. Scott McTominay is the biggest example of that, and the Scot will once again be at the heart of everything they do on Tuesday night.
Rasmus Hojlund, another ex-Manchester United player, needs to do more to endear himself to the Napoli faithful, though. The Danish centre forward started brightly in Naples, but his record now stands at six games played and just two goals scored.
If Hojlund is to prove that his form in Manchester wasn't a true reflection of his abilities, then he is going to need to rediscover his finishing touch sharpish. However, with Kevin de Bruyne now injured, he may have to work hardert to find goalscoring chances for himself.
Predicted line-ups
Bill Gilmour is the latest Napoli player to go down injured, but there is light at the end of their injury tunnel as Stanislav Lobotka and Amir Rrahmani are now fit again. Conte is still without several key players, though, including Kevin de Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku.
Rasmus Hohlund's brother, Oscar, is ruled out for Frankfurt, while there are also doubts about the availability of Can Uzun, after he went off injured at the weekend.
Napoli: Milinkovic-Savic – Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Buongiorno, Spinazzola – Lobotka, Anguissa, McTominay – Politano, Hojlund, Neres
Frankfurt: Zetterer (GK) – Kristensen, Koch, Theate – Doan, Larsson, Chaibi, Brown – Knauff, Gotze – Burkardt
Anything else catch the eye?
Napoli aren't known for being involved in high-scoring end-to-end football matches, and although Frankfurt are, the fact that the game is being played in Naples means it will likely be on Conte's terms. Under 2.5 goals to be scored has been priced slightly long by BoyleSports at 13/10.
