MANCHESTER CITY and RB Leipzig are already safely through to the Champions League knockout stages so the only thing that's left to be decided is who tops Group G – and a victory for Pep Guardiola's men would seal the deal at the Etihad.
Having finally got the monkey off their back by lifting Europe's most prestigious trophy last season, City have breezed through the group stage with four wins from four so far.
Their place in the last 16 was pretty much assured when they won 3-1 in Leipzig on Matchday Two, with two of my bets coming up just short on a frustrating night for me.
Young Boys and Red Star Belgrade always looked well short of the quality needed to match either Guardiola's side or RB Leipzig and that's how it has panned out, with both those sides picking up just one point so far.
Manchester City weren't at their best at the weekend as they drew 1-1 at home to Liverpool to surrender top spot in the Premier League on a good day for Slips Tips. Guardiola might be tempted to make changes for what is effectively a dead rubber but he doesn't have too many options due to injuries.
The Catalan will still want to secure top spot to tee up an easier tie in the last 16 and he will fancy City's chances against an RB Leipzig side in poor form.
Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Wolfsburg made it three defeats in Leipzig's last four Bundesliga games and gaffer Marco Rose will be looking for an improved display in Europe to spark a domestic resurgence.

It's no surprise to see Manchester City as heavy favourites and their best price is a tiny 7/20 at BetUK. RB Leipzig are as big as 8/1 with Coral and even the draw is pretty hefty at 5/1 with VBet.

These sides have faced off five times in the last two years and it's Manchester City who have the edge, winning three of those games and losing just once. RB Leipzig will need to tighten up at the back for this visit to the Etihad, having lost 6-3 and 7-0 on their last two visits.
Players to watch
Erling Haaland famously scored five goals when RB Leipzig last came calling but Guardiola might be tempted to give him the night off having just returned from an ankle injury. Julian Alvarez should start either as Haaland's deputy or in a more withdrawn role and the Argentinian is 7/5 at Unibet for anytime scorer.
Lois Openda has been in fine form for RB Leipzig this season, with the Belgian netting 11 times. He scored against Manchester City in Germany and a repeat at the Etihad pays 100/30 at SkyBet.
