Leeds United have given their Premier League survival hopes a big boost in recent weeks and will be looking to build more momentum when Crystal Palace visit Elland Road.
Manager Daniel Farke was on the brink after losing four games in a row but has responded superbly, with Leeds claiming five points from tough fixtures with Chelsea, Liverpool and Brentford.
That has lifted them out of the drop zone and if they can bank three more points here against Palace then fans will be feeling a lot more festive.
Elland Road will be key to their quest for safety and Farke's side have lost just twice at home in the Premier League this season.
The stadium was rocking for the win over Chelsea and dramatic draw with Liverpool so this is a tough fixture for Palace just two days after a Conference League assignment.
Boss Oliver Glasner left all his big hitters out of the starting line-up on Thursday night so he has clearly prioritised Premier League points.
But these are still uncertain times for the Eagles with the manage repeatedly stalling on signing a new deal.
How the bookies view it: Leeds by a nose
Leeds are slight favourites for this one at a best 17/10 with Coral. Glasner's side are 37/20 with BetMGM and the draw pays 23/10 at Bet365.
Recent head to head: Eagles eye repeat of 2023
Crystal Palace romped to a 5-1 victory on their last visit to Elland Road in 2023 and that completed a Premier League double over relegation-bound Leeds.
But the Yorkshire side had won seven in a row at home to the Eagles before that, so it hasn't been a happy hunting ground for the Londoners.
Players to watch: Calvert-Lewin reborn
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is starting to turn on the style for Leeds and his confidence is up after netting in four successive games. The striker is 23/10 at Paddy Power to keep his hot streak going.
With Ismaila Sarr away on AFCON duty, Eddie Nketiah could get a run of games in the Palace attack. The former Arsenal striker is 3/1 at BetMGM for a goal.
Probable line-ups
Leeds United are just one of five Premier League teams with no players away on AFCON duty. But Sean Longstaff, Lukas Nmecha and Daniel James are set to miss out with injuries.
Sarr is the only AFCON absentee for Palace while Daichi Kamara, Cheick Doucoure and Daniel Munoz are set to miss out with injuries. Glasner has revealed no player who started on Thursday will be in from the off here, so expect all the big guns to return.
Leeds United: Perri, Struijk, Rodon, Bijol, Bogle, Gudmundsson, Ampadu, Stach, Tanak, Calvert-Lewin, Okafor.
Crystal Palace: Henderson, Lacroix, Guehi, Richards, Mitchell, Clyne, Hughes, Wharton, Nketiah, Pino, Mateta.
Anything else catch the eye?
Glasner is rightly unhappy about having to play just two days after a European fixture and that could tilt this game in Leeds' favour.
With Farke's side so strong at home, they look good value at 17/20 with William Hill to win either half. I also like over 1.5 Leeds goals at 13/8 with Bet365.
When a price looks too good to ignore, that’s value. Learn how to identify it with our Value Betting guide.
Leeds beat both Chelsea and Liverpool on the corner count for their last two home games so they could offer some value here at -1.5 in the corner handicap, which pays 5/4 at Unibet.
Defender Gabriel Gudmundsson has been fouled three times in each of his last three games for Leeds. So the 11/10 on offer at Bet365 for him to be fouled over 1.5 times in this game looks worth a punt.
