Lazio will have revenge on their minds when they host Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday. The Italians are also looking to boost their chances of progressing to the knockout phase of the competition and should have the edge over the visitors.
Group F is one of the most open groups in this year’s Europa League with all four teams level on five points and still with a chance of progressing. However, Lazio are third on the table due to an inferior goal difference brought about by that 5-1 defeat to Midtjylland in the first meeting.
Lazio will be keen to set things right on Thursday and are unbeaten in seven matches across all competitions since that defeat in Denmark. Maurizio Sarri’s men have claimed four wins in that run, including a 2-0 victory over Atalanta in a Serie A fixture last Sunday.
Home form has been pivotal for Lazio lately as they are unbeaten in seven of their last eight matches at the Stadio Olimpico. However, they have kept just one clean sheet in four Europa League matches and twice threw away the lead in a 2-2 draw with Sturm Graz in their previous fixture.

Midtjylland's general form has been impressive in recent weeks as they are unbeaten in their last 10 matches across all competitions. However, they played out a 1-1 draw with Copenhagen in a Superliga fixture last Saturday.
One problem for Midtjylland is a poor record on their travels in Europe, where they are winless in their last three away matches. Albert Capellas’ men have lost twice in that run, including a 4-1 defeat to Benfica in the third round of the Champions League qualifiers while they were also beaten 1-0 by Sturm Graz on matchday one of the Europa League.

Sergei Milinkovic-Savic carries a goal threat from midfield and will be the one to watch for Lazio in the absence of the injured Ciro Immobile. The Serbian was on target last time out against Sturm Graz and is priced at 11/5 with Paddy Power to get on the score sheet on Thursday.
