England will look to make it two wins in the space of four days as they travel to Rijeka to take on Croatia in Nations League A Group 3.
England made a losing start to their Nations League campaign last Saturday, ending up on the wrong end of a five-goal thriller at home against reigning European and world champions Spain.
However, Thomas Tuchel’s visitors bounced back from that setback on Tuesday night as they won 0-2 in Prague against 10-man Czechia.
Pavel Sulc was sent off halfway through the first half for Czechia, before second-half strikes from Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane secured all three points for The Three Lions.
Slaven Bilic began his second reign as head coach of Croatia also by winning in Prague, as they won 1-2 in Czechia thanks in some part to their inspirational 41-year-old captain Luka Modric
However, the Balkan nation were outclassed by an inspired Lamine Yamal on Tuesday night, losing 4-1 in Seville to La Roja.
Both nations currently sit on three points in Nations League A Group 3 table, three points behind leaders Spain and three ahead of bottom side Czechia.
How the bookies view it: Three Lions favourites for three points
England are favourites to follow up their victory in Prague on Tuesday night, with bet365 pricing the Three Lions at 17/20 to leave Rijeka with all three points.
Croatia are 3/1 to bounce back from their defeat in Seville, whilst the draw is 14/5.
Head to head: England with the upper hand
This has been a regular fixture in the 21st century, with England winning seven of their 12 meetings with Croatia (W7-D2-L3).
That includes each of the last three clashes, including an entertaining 4-2 success in the group stages of the World Cup in North America over the summer.
Players to watch: Another goal for Harry?
Harry Kane gave England the lead against Spain on MD1 before missing a penalty to double their advantage, but bounced back in typical fashion by scoring the second in Prague on Tuesday night.
That extends the England captain’s tally to eight goals for club and country this season, and he has to be backed at 21/20 at bet365 to get on the scoresheet once again in Rijeka on Saturday.

Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals has paid out in five of Croatia’s last six internationals – including both in the Nations League – and a repeat pays an appealing 1/1 at bet365.
