BURNLEY and Leicester City suffered horror shows at the weekend and both need a Turf Moor win for different reasons.
While Sean Dyche's men were getting crushed in London by Spurs, an injury-ravaged Leicester City's Champions League hopes suffered a blow after Arsenal came from behind to win, just a few days after their shock Europa League loss to Slavia Prague.
With Burnley on a run of just one win in their last eight games, they are anxiously looking over their shoulders, particularly at improving Fulham.
The knee injury to Harvey Barnes is a hammer blow for Leicester and Johnny Evans' injury took them up to eight players crocked, with Brendan Rodgers admitting they are down to the bare bones.
But Leicester still have the joint-best record on the road in the Premier League and Burnley will still find it hard against even a depleted Foxes.
How the bookies view it?
Even despite that lengthy injury list, Leicester are still very much favourites at 21/20 with TonyBet. Burnley can be backed at 16/5 with Unibet and the draw is 23/10 with McBookie.com.
Recent head to heads
Leicester won an entertaining clash at the King Power Stadium earlier this season 4-2 which elevated them to the top of the league, but Burnley beat Leicester 2-1 last season in Lancashire. In fact, four of the last six clashes have finished in a 2-1 scoreline to both sides.
Players to watch
Burnley are the second lowest scorers in the league and struggle to net, but Jay Rodriguez looks likely to be tasked with breaching the Foxes' defence and he's 16/5 with Unibet to score anytime.
With Barnes now injured, Leicester are heavily reliant on Jamie Vardy to score, but he's not been fully fit recently either and is poor value at around the evens mark to score. Youri Tielemans scored against Arsenal and is a goal threat with nine goals in all competitions. He's interesting at 9/2 with Paddy Power to score.
Anything else catch the eye?
Burnley are the worst team in the league for both teams to score punters with just 28 per cent of their games landing, so the no option of that bet looks a real runner at evens with McBookie.com. Burnley also sit bottom of the over 2.5 goals table and under are 11/14 with SBK.
It's very hard to make a genuine case for either side – Burnley are on a wretched run and haven't won in their last five league meetings, while Leicester have too many injuries to key attacking players like Barnes, James Maddison, Dennis Praet, and Ayoze Perez.
It's likely to be a slow burner with two teams scratching for form and Burnley have scored just seven goals in their first half of their games this season. Goalless at the interval is 7/4 with TonyBet.
