Poland have second spot in their sights as they travel to the Air Albania Stadium for a 2022 World Cup qualifying Group I clash with Albania. The hosts have impressed in the qualifiers and can make things difficult for Poland who have been in good form lately.
Albania claimed a 1-0 victory over Hungary in their previous qualifying fixture. They had more of the chances in a closely fought encounter and secured the win through Armando Broja's effort late in the second half.
It is now three straight wins for Albania, who are having a solid campaign in Group I. They are currently second on the table, just one point behind Poland and will need to continue their fine winning run to hold on to the playoff spot.
One problem for manager Edoardo Reja is that Albania tend to struggle against the top sides in Europe. They were beaten 4-1 by Poland in the reverse fixture while also losing 2-0 at home to England with a 3-1 defeat to the Czech Republic also in the mix.
