West Ham will look to move out of the relegation zone on Saturday afternoon as they travel to the Vitality to take on ninth-placed Bournemouth.
West Ham endured a nightmare start to the campaign, winning just one and losing seven of their opening nine Premier League matches (W1-D1-L7).
However, Nuno has guided his new side to back-to-back home wins over Newcastle and Burnley, meaning they remain in the relegation zone only on goal difference.
After an opening day defeat at Anfield against the champions, Bournemouth embarked on an eight-game unbeaten run to climb up into second in the Premier League table.
However, Andoni Iraola’s men have gone on to suffer heavy defeats away at Manchester City and Aston Villa, seeing them slip down into ninth in the table.
Nevertheless, the Cherries remain unbeaten at home, winning four and drawing one of their five Premier League encounters in front of their supporters.
How the bookies view it: Bournemouth favourites
Bournemouth are expected to bounce back from consecutive away defeats, with BOYLE Sports pricing a home success at just 6/10.
The Hammers are 4/1 to record a third successive victory in the Premier League, whilst the draw is 3/1.
Head to head: Nine unbeaten for the Hammers
West Ham are unbeaten in each of their previous eight Premier League meetings with Bournemouth (W3-D5-L0), with four of the last five resulting in draws.
The Cherries' last victory over The Hammers came back in January 2019.
Players to watch: Kroupi to grab another goal?
Eli Junior Kroupi has made an impressive start to his Bournemouth career following his summer switch from French side Lorient.
The French youngster has scored four goals in his last five appearances in the Premier League – including the second in their victory over Nottingham Forest in their previous home match – and he is an appealing 11/10 at Bet365 to strike again.
Predicted line-ups:
Bournemouth will be without Adam Smith, Justin Kluivert, Enes Unal and Matai Akinmboni, whilst Antoine Semenyo is a doubt.
West Ham will be missing Konstantinos Mavropanos, Oliver Scarles and Niclas Fullkrug through injury, whilst Lucas Paqueta is suspended.
AFC Bournemouth: Petrovic, Jimenez, Senesi, Milosavljevic, Truffert, Scott, Adams, Brooks, Kroupi, Tavernier, Evanilson
West Ham United: Areola, Wan-Bissaka, Kilman, Todibo, Diouf, Soucek, Fernandes, Potts, Bowen, Summerville, Wilson
Anything else catch the eye?
Bournemouth come into this clash off the back of successive away defeats, whilst West Ham have recorded back-to-back victories at the London Stadium, but I’m backing the Cherries to return to winning ways.
Andoni Iraola’s men have made the Vitality a fortress this season, winning four and drawing one of their five Premier League outings in front of their supporters (W4-D1-L0).
Each of those victories have featured fewer than five goals – and given the same has landed in 6/7 (86%) of West Ham’s defeats – I’m happy to back a Bournemouth Win & Under 4.5 Goals, which pays 1/1 at Bet365.
