With most of the big leagues across Europe approaching the halfway stage of their seasons, it's becoming clearer which teams are going to battle it out the big prizes in May and which teams are going be battling to beat the drop.
Over the coming weeks, several football betting markets are projected to shift as matches come thick and fast and the managerial merry-go-round kicks into top gear. Here are some markets that are worth keeping an eye on.
Market movers: Our Premier League picks
A return for David Moyes?
The Premier League sack race is reaching boiling point with several managers towards the bottom of the table in imminent danger of losing their jobs. Gary O'Neil is currently the favourite to lose his job next and David Moyes is among the favourites to become the next Wolves manager.
That isn't the only job at the bottom of the table that is likely going to be up for grabs by New Year's Day with Southampton and two of Moyes' former clubs, Everton and West Ham, all reportedly weighing up their options.
Moyes is currently priced at 14/1 to become the next Wolves boss, 25/1 to become the next Everton boss, 33/1 to become the next West Ham boss and the 2/1 favourite to become the next Southampton boss. We anticipate all of these odds to tumble as each club's situation becomes more dire.
Chelsea to become too good to ignore
The Premier League outright odds now have Chelsea as the third-favourites at 7/1 but that still feels like a very generous price given they are currently the closest team to Liverpool at the top of the table.
Enzo Maresca's men are passing every test they face with flying colours and staged a wonderful comeback against Tottenham at the weekend to win a dramatic London Derby 4-3.
Their upcoming fixtures are also kind with their next seven league matches being against Brentford, Everton, Fulham, Ipswich, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Wolves. On current form, it wouldn't be a surprise to see them take 21 points from these fixtures which would see their price of 7/1 slashed.
Other predicted football betting market movers
Title odds to change: It's not too late to back Atletico Madrid
Atletico Madrid started the season poorly and found themselves 11 points behind Barcelona at one stage. However, the Catalan's dramatic dip in form, combined with everything clicking for Diego Simeone's men, has seen Atleti close the gap to just three points, and that's with a game in hand.
Yes, Real Madrid are also in their way, but Los Blancos are having troubles of their own with Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr getting in each other's way. It could all end up being a perfect storm for Atletico, who have now won nine matches in a row in all competitions.
They are currently priced at 7/1 to win La Liga, which is an absolute steal.
Relegation odds to change: Heidenheim to move clear of the drop zone
Heidenheim have come crashing back to reality this season after their fairytale debut campaign in the Bundesliga saw them quality for Europe last season. However, at present, they look set for relegation after a run of five league losses in a row has seen them drop into the bottom three.
The good news for Heidneheim is that they have friendlier fixtures coming up while the team directly above them, St Pauli, face three of the top 10 in their next three matches.
Heidenheim's relegation price of 5/2 should therefore lengthen in the coming weeks so hold of backing them to go down if you were planning on doing so.
