Leeds Utd v Brentford
English Championship. Kick-off: Saturday 6th October 12.30pm, Live on Sky Sports Football.
THE early kick off this weekend sees the sky cameras go to Elland Road as Leeds welcome Brentford.
Leeds are looking to hold onto top spot as they chase a return to the English top flight for the first time in over a decade.
Brentford will have promotion aspirations themselves, probably through the play offs, but after a recent mini slump will be looking to get back to winning ways to keep in touch with the play off positions and not get dragged down the division into a potential relegation dog fight.
Leeds United
Leeds have had their own mini slump recently after an explosive start to the season which saw them receive many plaudits for their attacking style and play. They got back to winning ways midweek away to Hull with a 1-0 win after away draws with Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall and at home to Middlesbrough and defeat at home to Birmingham City.
There was a 3-0 win over Preston at Elland Road sandwiched in amongst those fixtures. Leeds have a home record this season of W3 D1 L1 and have only failed to score in one of those matches.
They have seen their goals shared amongst the team with Klich and Roofe on 4 goals the top scorers and Alioski and Pablo Hernandez just behind on 3 goals. It is worth noting that Mateusz Klich's 4 goals have all been 1st scorer and you can get him to open the scoring at 8/1 (bet365).
Brentford
Brentford have had their own mini slump as previously mentioned and going to league leaders Leeds wouldn't have been their first choice as they look to get back to winning ways.
They haven't won away from home all season with the or record reading W0 D3 L2. Like Leeds home record they have only failed to score in 1 of these 5 matches and haven't found goals hard to come by with Frenchman Neal Maupay leading the way with 9 goals, 6 of which have come as 1st scorer, 9/2 (bet365).
Head to heads
Head to heads favours the home sides based on recent results with both having home records of W2 D1 L0 in previous meetings. I expected a close match between these sides but based on this and Brentfords away form I would side with a Leeds win but with goals in the match provided by both sides with some decent prices available.

agreed goals looks the way to go in this and as for a result it looks hard to call leeds will be a tough and intimidating place to go but we can hold our own and if leeds arnt on the top of their game then bentford could capitalise however im seeing a draw here so:
over 2.5 goals 7/10
btts 4/7
draw 27/10
