Middlesbrough v Crystal Palace
Carbao Cup 4th Round. Kick-Off: 7.45pm, Wednesday, October 31
TONY PULLIS has already stated he will make wholesale changes again for this cup tie. In the previous rounds he has made 10 changes in round one and two and 11 changes in round three.
Fringe players and academy players have done well to come through three rounds but at the end of the day promotion back to the Premier League is top priority.
Crystal Palace under Roy Hodgson have a different priority of stopping in the Premier League and will also make several changes including the resting of Wilfried Zaha.
They have lost the last 13 games Zaha has failed to start but have showed grit and fight in the last two rounds defeating Swansea (1-0) and West Brom (3-0).
Both sides are not free-scoring and I can't see that changing at the Riverside although I believe Palace will have enough to win the tie and progress.
