ALL regulars to the site know in general games in the Dutch second tier produce goals.
Some people blindly back both to score or/and overs in all games in a bid to land a decent accumulator.
In my experience there's always one that will beat you – but which one do you avoid?
These matches tend to be played on Fridays and Mondays and I've got so much work on Fridays I don't get a chance to take a serious look at games. But today I have time and I've had researched h2h results for all nine games as well as recent results.
Team news is almost non-existent so that's worth remembering. Here are the stats and from those I've advised a goals line and WDW single and treble – points advice for these are on the top tips post. All matches kick off at 7pm.
Den Bosch v Jong PSV
Jong PSV's last four matches have totalled 24 goals. Three of the last four meetings between the sides have gone over 2.5 goals with all seeing both scoring. Den Bosch have failed to net in their last but should net here as PSV have conceded 12 in their last three. Team news is even more important with the Jong teams as they can call on first-teamers.
Dordrecht v Almere
Before Friday's 1-0 defeat at home to Top Oss there had been 16 in a row for basement boys Almere over 2.5 goals. Dordrecht's last five have gone over as have the last four meetings between the sides in Dordrecht.
FC Eindhoven v Emmen
Ten of the last meetings between the sides in Eindhoven have gone over 2.5 goals. Five out of six of Eindhoven's last home matches have gone over 2.5 goals but the other was a 0-0. Emmen have seen five of their last six games go over too.
Helmond v Achilles
Achilles sit fourth bottom but have conceded the same amount or fewer goals than the nine clubs above them. They've only netted 14 in 14 games though so their aggregate scores are second lowest in the league to RKC. Seven of Helmond's last eight matches have gone over and they are short-priced favourites so it may need a 3-0 home to bring the goals line up.
Jong Ajax v Sparta Rotterdam
It would be a surprise if there were a shortage of goals here. The sides have met just four times with Ajax twice winning 4-2, once taking it 2-1 but losing 6-0 in Rotterdam in the most recent meeting in January. Leaders Sparta are the league's top marksmen with 33 and their last eight matches have gone over 2.5 goals. Five of Ajax's last six have gone that way including a 3-3 draw with PSV and 4-2 defeat at Emmen in their last two outings.
NAC Breda v Telstar
Looking at stats this is one that throws up some doubts. Telstar have seen seven of nine go over 2.5 goals and Breda six out of nine but all three previous meetings between the sides have gone under with both teams scoring in none of them.
Maastricht v Fortuna Sittard
MVV are again expected to floor a Fortuna side sitting second bottom and who have conceded a league high 37 goals. On the h2h the last three in Maastricht have been 0-1, 3-3 and 0-0 but Fortuna have lost four in a row conceding 13 with just one for. Again if overs are to come up it may need a 3-0 home success.
Top Oss v WKC
Oss are tough to work out. After losing 6-1 at home to Breda their next home game was a 3-0 defeat of Go Ahead Eagles which puzzled many punters. At the time that was bottom v top but Oss followed up with a 1-0 win at Almere and have moved up to 15th – two places ahead of WKC who are the league's lowest scorers with 11. However, the sides have met eight times and all have gone over 2.5 goals with Oss winning one of four at home. RKC have won their last two home games but on the road have been beaten to nil four in a row. I don't like doing WDW in this league but Oss are worth a look at around evens to win.
Volendam v Go Ahead Eagles
Go Ahead have been knocked off the top after following their shock loss at Oss by losing at home to Eindhoven. Seven of their last eight matches have gone over 2.5 goals. Volendam have also seen a form dip with one win in six and they are level on 27 points with Go Ahead – five behind Sparta. Picking a result is tough but overs looks on with 15 of the last 17 meetings between the sides going that route.

jordan 131190, it’s over – I’ll make it clear.
Brilliant thanks mr f
the don cossack, if the Dutch research pays off I’ll look to do it next Monday – Fridays are difficult but I’ll have a look this week.
Mr F That Overs treble looks not too bad Im going with that and adding Wealdstone v Gosport Over 2.5 along with Bolton v Brentford BTTS for a nice 5 fold.
(Bumped into the Wealdstone Raider at the Black friday sales and he said there’s more fight in Argos than in Gosport)
Good Luck Mr F.
A great league for goals but as you say there’s normally that one game that lets you down.
I’ll be on this tonight.
Dinamo Bucharest Romanion league 1. Get on them to win at 17/20 NAP
Some effort Mr F
This is a joke. Gone big on the overs treble. This league is usually guaranteed goals, then as soon as there is a write up there are more half time 0-0’s than you can shake a stick at. Grrrrrr.
noodle dude, the fact there are some 0-0s has nothing to so with the write-up – that’s football for you.
Anyway things can change in the second half.
Also who told you to go big? That was your decision not mine.
Playing in a hurricane doesn’t help to be fair
fosterp, form, h2h, team news and even the weather is important. Didn’t know it was bad over there.
Hope someone stuck my NAP on ;)
Mr F, several games were played in atrocious conditions … Can’t do much about that tho.. I still think O2.5G was a good shout .. Will keep an eye on round of matches
