Minnesota Timberwolves vs Miami Heat: Under 218 total points @ 9/10
This is a duel between two solid defensive teams, although neither of them have really been as consistent defensively as they have potential to be. At the moment, the Wolves are ninth in the league if we look at points allowed per game, with an average of 109.9 points, while the Heat are 14th with an average of 111.9 points allowed.
Still, if we look at their recent H2H duels, three of their last four meetings have gone under 218 total points and with the Heat only 21st in the league in points scored per game, I can see this game following the same pattern. So, the first of my NBA predictions for tonight is for this game to go under 218 total points.
Denver Nuggets vs Dallas Mavericks: Nuggets to win with handicap (-4) @ 9/10
The Nuggets are seemingly figuring things out after a slow start of the season and they've won six of their last seven games. They remain without Aaron Gordon, but Jamal Murray is back and he did well against Miami a couple of days ago.
Meanwhile, the Mavs have been pretty inconsistent so far and they've lost three of their last five games, with Luka Doncic playing at a level below what we're used to. On top of that, Doncic is listed as a game-time decision for tonight, but even if he ends up playing, my second NBA pick for this evening is for the Nuggets to beat the Mavs by five or more points, which has happened in three of their last four H2H duels.
Phoenix Suns vs Sacramento Kings: Kings to win @ 9/10
With the news of Kevin Duran's injury forcing him to miss at least a couple of weeks, the Suns are in a tough situation since Durent has been in great form early this season. The Suns are 8-1 coming into this game and they certainly have enough firepower to be competitive even without Durant.
That being said, the Kings are a very good team and they're fully healthy, at least when it comes to their key players. They have also won five of their last seven games, so they are in good rhythm coming into this game, which is why the last of my NBA tips for today is for the Kings to win this match on moneyline.
