IT wasn't a bad Saturday with some winners and losers and a few hard-luck tales.
My Super Single landed at 7-5 thanks to a late Ayr goal and my English both to score treble came in at 9-2.
Nothing else on the top tips but a few winners on the VIP long shots.
A few weeks ago my four draws paid 150-1 and I'd love to land them again before Christmas and was so close. Three out of four returned 35-1 and I was a Southampton goal away from four at 125-1.
It was also three out of four on the aways at 15-1 with Bury conceding late to deny me a full house. Bury's draw also beat my win and btts Twitter treble but good to see many people cashed.
I had an offer of £416 for a tenner with the line in at that point but was driving home from the football and was struggling for a connection. Motto of the story is: Don't think and drive – especially on a busy M74!
Also I managed to pick two winning Bonkers Bets without posting them. Cheers to colin w for asking me for one and I gave him two – Brighton 1, Leicester 1 and Rangers 3, Livingston 0. Hope he did the double.
Well done to all the winners on Saturday including Desmond with two out of three and close to the full house again.
Another busy card on Sunday and I've picked out some bets. For a both to score treble I'm starting with Bournemouth v Arsenal.
This should be an open game with plenty of goalmouth action and two sides who are stronger in attack than defence. The past two meetings at the Vitality were 2-1 Bournemouth and 3-3 while four of Arsenal's last five have seen both scoring including a 2-2 at Crystal Palace.
Next take Freiburg v Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga. Head to head gives mixed vibes with three of the last five bringing up this market including a 5-2 away win.
Freiburg's last five have seen both score as have Bremen's last four with their games totalling 21 strikes.
Complete the treble with a derby in Serie A – Genoa v Sampdoria. H2h doesn't back this up but form does. Samp have won five in row at their rivals' home and only one has seen both scoring.
But five of Genoa's last six have landed this market with the other game a 5-0 defeat. Samp's last three have finished 1-4, 1-4 and 2-3.
Next games on my list were Bologna v Fiorentina and Emmen v Excelsior and if you fancy a fivefold that pays 11-1.
For the Top Treble I'm starting with Borussia M'gladbach at home to Hannover. Borussia are flying this season and are the only side in the Bundesliga with a 100 per cent record. Hannover are at the wrong end of the table with just two points from 18 on the road.
Next take Atalanta at struggling Empoli. A 4-1 battering of Inter made it four wins in a row with 15 goals scored and on on top of that they have won their last two here.
Finish with Sevilla who are enjoying a great season in La Liga and with Barcelona and Real Madrid dropping more points than usual they can go top by beating Valladolid at home. Sevilla have won six in a row and while their opponents have fared well since promotion this looks a nailed-on home.
For a Super Single I'm on Napoli -1 and Gladbach as a double. Don't like picking same team twice but this should come up with Chievo pointless in Serie A.

It’s a shame I didn’t have time to do this as a preview but here goes.
I’ve been saying for a while it will click for Wolves in front of goal. I think Wolves could really exploit a naive Huddersfield here. One of these days Wolves will put 4 or 5 past somebody. It should have been Burnley and it would have been had it not been for an in form Joe Hart. I don’t think Huddersfield are the kind of team to stick ten men behind the ball to try and frustrate unless it’s one of the big boys. I just think they might try and take us on today which will leave space for our boys to do some damage. If we can get an early goal I think the goals could flow here and Wolves could really put the Terriers to the sword.
I like the look of Macca’s -1 but I’m tempted to take Wolves to hit 3, 4 and 5 today for more value.
Add to the fact young Ruben Vinagre will start at full back..he offers more of an attacking threat than Jonny (who’s injured) I think Wolves will be keen to attack even more than they would normally.

I should’ve noted that the O0.5TG Treble is 3/4 stake, too. I try and give an indication about my confidence by posting the stakes in fractional terms. So really, I can’t split the two ‘main’ bets. The tie in Poland has the chance of being cagey due to it being 1st v 2nd, but I think it’s a fair price on both netting so I’ve taken it. Lechia look the stronger, but Jagiellonia’s away form is really encouraging.
To answer your question simply, I probably wouldn’t put a high stake on either. ‘Full stake’ or ‘double stake’ will indicate that I fancy a high stake bet (as with Blackburn/Pompey yesterday).
