IF Saturday embodied the spirit of Oktoberfest then Sunday felt like a hangover.
After winning more than 35pts on Saturday my three bets were losers so that was 5pts handed back.
Eintracht Frankfurt beat the Super Single with a surprise draw at Nuremberg, SPAL downed the Top Treble and the both to score treble was nowhere.
The good thing about following a good day with a bad day is only giving back about 15 per cent of the winnings and that's one reason why punters should stick to level stakes.
It was billed as Super Sunday in Scotland and while the Celtic v Hearts games stuck to the script Rangers paid the price for Alfredo Morelos' ban by failing to break down Aberdeen.
Steven Gerrard's done a lot right at Ibrox this season but starting with Umar Sadiq up top looked a mistake.

It was a team to score next.. From about 20 mins in they were about 18/1 to score next… I put my bets down in 85+ mins to 89 mins at the higher odds… I’ve got a screen shot of my completed bets. I was wrong it was 50/1, 100/1 and 200/1…. They really shouldn’t have scored but it was a penalty at 94th min that won the bets…
I rarely win so big on odds, best in past is 50/1 virtual horse and 33/1 at £10ew… Normally stick to normal bets.

The Hills offer can be a good one. I haven’t sorted out what to go for yet but may go for >2.5 goals at 8/15 at £10 to get the £5 free bet. I often use my ‘free bets’ for Double chance or >0.5 mg accumulators. Often I am just 1 or 2 out, but a ‘free’ £5 bet from Hills returned me £53.10 (minus the £5 free bet) on Saturday on a 15 team accumulator (combo of DC / goals).
Betway also do a ‘betyourway’ offer regularly. Tonight it is bet £5 get a free £10 bet on Spurs / Man City. You need to go for ‘evens’ or better on this one, so have opted for BTTS & >2.5mg at evens (so will return £10), plus my ‘free’ £10 bet has already been awarded.
Paddypower accumulators also good (you need to go for 4 wins and if one loses, then stake is returned), but needs to be at odds of 1/5 for each leg so check this carefully. But for me a better choice than the 5 winners required @ Ladbrokes say.

It’s the early kick-off on Sunday. Heerenveen host promoted Emmen. Heerenveen had a tough run of fixtures since the beginning of the season, especially at home. They hosted the teams who are now in 2nd till 5th place in the league and a game against Den Haag, who are also difficult to beat. They only played once against a team in 15th or below and that was a 0-5 win at De Graafschap. Heerenveen already scored 23 goals in 10 games and scored 3+ in 6 of their 10 games. Emmen haven’t won in their last 5 games and they couldn’t beat VVV at the weekend who got a red card after 19 minutes. Emmen lost 5-0 at Ajax, 6-0 at PSV and 1-4 against AZ.
