THE season started with a bang as Celtic beat Hearts 4-1 to produce a series of winners for site regulars.
One of the best shouts was Kyle Lafferty to be booked at 4-1 while my Super Single was Celtic -2 Asian at just overs evens and that was covered.
My 4-1 Top Treble landed easily with my three featured sides netting 15 goals between them.
A late Albion Rovers goal in a 5-1 defeat to Ayr brought up my 9-2 Scottish both to score treble but the English one was a loser. As expected it was a bit tougher in England – especially the Championship – and most punters will be aware the first couple of weeks of a new season are the toughest to call.
Form plays a big part in tipping and there is none to look at yet. Mansfield beat the aways treble and a late Norwich equaliser meant there was no stake back on the fivefold.
All in all it was a profitable day – and well done to all the winners – and that's all you can hope for on day one. Bet of the Day for members only also won thanks to a team to score to treble at evens.
Elsewhere Desmond had two winners out of three on his goals bets and was so close to the 47-1 full house and Scott Allot landed a nice European 4-1 fourfold plus 10 per cent bonus.
On Sunday Chelsea meet Arsenal for the Community Shield and best bet could be both to score with a winner tough to pick. And in the Championship there's an interesting one as Bolton entertain Leeds.
In Scotland Rangers start their Premiership campaign at Motherwell while Aberdeen tackle Hamilton at home. Two trick games for the favourites but I expect both to win.
There are top-flight games in France, Belgium and Portugal and don't forget the women's Euro final between hosts Holland, who were impressive semi-final winners over England, and Denmark.
For my Top Treble I'm keeping it simple with Rangers, Aberdeen and Marseille. Rangers seem to have shrugged off the Europa League exit in Luxembourg and have played better in friendlies since with Bruno Alves and Graham Dorans making a difference.
They have won four out of five at Motherwell and if they don't make a good start questions will quickly be asked of boss Pedro Caixinha.
Aberdeen are also out of Europe after a disappointing 2-0 loss in Cyprus. Derek McInnes's men have just three days to pick themselves up and are lucky not to have a more severe test than Hamilton at home. The Dons have won four out of five to nil against Accies at Pittodrie and should edge this one.
Complete the treble with Marseille at home to Dijon. Marseille have the benefit of a round of Europa League games – they beat Oostende 4-2 on aggregate – and have brought in Valerie Germain, Luiz Gustavo and Florian Thauvin so should go well.
They lost just two at home last season while Dijon, who beat the drop by one place, won just once on the road and face another season of struggle.
I've added a moneyback fivefold but haven't picked a goals treble. There were a few games I like but not enough stand out. Those I considered included the Vienna derby, Brondby v Copenhagen and Angers v Bordeaux. I have, however, posted an evens money members bet.

Not really a fan of friendlies but there are 2 on tomorrow that I just couldn’t ignore. Brighton -atletico Madrid and Bournemouth- Napoli. LA Galaxy are a big price tomorrow and I’m not sure why with all their big threats back from international duty. Portland have kept only one clean sheet in their last 10, and the Galaxy despite their poor results, have scored 2+ in 8 of their 10 games on the road and have the best away record in the West on the season. Goals should be around with 9 of Galaxy’s 10 on the road going over 2.5, averaging 3.9 goals. I’ll take my chances and hope the likes of Dos Santos and Zardes contribute for the Galaxy before their 66:00 goal time. 5/1 for LA to take 3 points could be well worth a point stake of your own.

I think Motherwell may beat Rangers tomorrow, possibly 2-1. I don’t think there will be much in it and I can see both sides scoring. There has been a noticeable improvement in the past two weeks in Rangers performances and that’s mainly down to Alves and Dorrans coming into the side since the European exit. As well as this Caixinha has found a formation that suits his players. I was in Sheffield last week and Josh Windass had a good game and scored as well as looking dangerous throughout. I think at 7/2 anytime he has a good chance of scoring today.

Nurnberg are on fire at the moment. They followed up wins over Inter Milan and Borussia Monchengladbach in pre-season with an excellent performance in a 3-0 win over Kaiserslautern last weekend. They could go top with a win here but it would be wrong for them to underestimate their local rivals. Regensburg sent shock waves through German football two months ago by winning the promotion/relegation play-offs against 1860 Munich, leaving the 2nd biggest club in Bavaria behind Bayern Munich on the brink of extinction. That victory was masterminded by then manager Heiko Herrlich who is now at Bayer Leverkusen and Regensburg have found life a little tougher since then.

Has anyone been watching the women Euros? Please I need someone to back my confidence on the Dutch women winning. I only was only able to watch their game vs England for about 20 minutes, which happens to be all I’ve seen throughout the entire tournament.
So, please can anyone update me?
These two met in the group stages where the Dutch won 1-0 despite putting them under siege for most of the match. The Dutch had significantly more shots on and off target with more possession. That said the Danes have been growing into the tournament and usually come out firing in the 2nd half of games. Example of that is when they put two past Germany in the 2nd forty five. I’m personally going with the Dutch to lift the trophy as I believe they’ll going into this with the better momentum. Good luck mate.

I’m a regular follower of the site and have benefited a lot too from it but I rarely see anyone tip on the Australian leagues… which happens to be a goal-laden league
Could their be a reason for that? Just wanna know.
There are a few tipsters who do back some of the Australian games (think one member actually lives there + follows the A-league closely, can’t remember his username).
Quite a few of us have had a dabble in the Aussie leagues for goals but its very unpredictable and more importantly the odds are nearly always terrible as bookies expect goals in the Australian leagues, so it’s higher stakes/lower odds and always a game or two which are let downs.
I prefer other leagues such as Swiss/Austrian/Malaysian/Thai/Korean for goals as the odds are usually higher but still with a high frequency of goals per game scored with certain teams.
BOLTON VS. LEEDS (1630):
I remember learning that Bury were going into liquidisation in about 1990 and as a die-hard season ticket holding 13 year old, I was absolutely gutted.
Imagine then, watching your clubs most despised rivals swoop in and cream off the players that we’d spent years putting together at a pittance.
David (Pubehead) Lee, (Super) John McGinley, and many others were off to Burnden Park (as was) in a flash – we sank like a stone whilst that kickstarted the Bolton revolution that saw them become a Euroean and Premier League side.
Having that rubbed in your face at work and chanted in games over the years doesn’t go away easily and it genuinely warms the cockles of my heart (if I had one) to see The Trotters fall from grace and the current situation they find themselves in – funny old game isn’t it.
In one simple but fitting act of defiance/drunkeness, a mate managed to get into Burnden Park after a night out in Bolton’s flesh-pots and took a sh*t in the middle of the centre circle! Small victories.
Another ex-Shaker Phil Parkinson, has done a good job steadying the Bolton ship as they deal with their (well deserved) financial issues and they still have some quality in the side with the likes of Le Fondre and a raft of other signings who are quite possibly being paid in clog vouchers or some other Bolton must-have.
Leeds are certainly the better squad on paper and were actually pretty damn good in stages last season before a dismal end – they look to continue on a similar vane with ze new goalkeeper Wiedwald their only key change after Gary Monk’s exit up the A1
With Chris Wood up top, Leeds are always going to carry a threat; the Yorkshire side ran out 2-1 winners in both of 2016’s H2H’s – I’m backing a brace again for the visitors. Wood himself is just 11/10 at 365 so opt for Skybets better price.

They could go top with a win here but it would be wrong for them to underestimate their local rivals. Top tips from Scott today. I was playing it safe today with his treble and dropped Sporting from the treble and also went just with the Young boys ( 2/5 ) and Marseille double ( 2/5 ). returns approx. 96%.
£306 on that double. With young boys thumping the opposition 3 nil and delivering Scotts overs component, Sporting look like they’re home and dry being 2 up with 15 left, so well done on that. Massive thanks on that one. I sadly missed out on the LA galaxy match because I had my dosh tied up in the Marseille game.
