THAT'S the first rounds of the Nations League out the way and by now we all understand its workings.

For example the winners of League A play 19th in CONCACAAF for a place in next year's US Masters. It's as simple as a two-foot putt for Tiger Woods.

Seriously, I hope to make more sense of it when the next set of games come along but the bottom line is win your matches and see where it takes you – whether it's Wembley or Wentworth.

Last night I couldn't complain about the results with my 19-4 Super Single – Eden Hazard to score first – landing as well as my over 2.5 goals double in games at Spain v Croatia and Iceland v Belgium.

I had 2pts on both so the September figures are looking much healthier thanks in the main to Belgium – with Romelu Lukaku to score first against Scotland being a Super Single last week.

Well done to all the other winners and have to mention racing tipster Voice of Value who landed a 470-1 treble. That's five winners in a row after his 65-1 double on Monday. He's been a stand-out stand-in for Alan Thomson who returns with Tuesday tips after his holiday.

There's not much to look at on Wednesday as we count down the days to the return of the leagues with St Mirren v Celtic, Birmingham v West Brom, Borussia Dortmund v Eintracht Frankfurt and Nice ve Rennes some of the games to look at on Friday.

Later on Tuesday there are some friendlies in South America including Colombia v Argentina, El Salvador v Brazil and Ecuador v Guatemala. Best of the games are the first one with a strong Colombia facing rivals without Lionel Messi. Brazil have almost all of their stars with them and Ecuador should be too strong for Guatemala.

Elsewhere there are early Copa del Rey games and for followers of the women's game Champions League qualifiers including Somatio v Glasgow City, Sarajevo v Chelsea Ladies and St Polten v PSG.

It's likely to be a no-bet day for me but I might put together an acca including tips from site regulars.

Remember to check out all the match previews and have a look at welovebetting for their tips and videos.

There’s been some belting tips this past few weeks, obviously nobody is ever going to create a 100% strike rate on tips but all the doubters that threw their teddy bears out of the pram are now nowhere to be seen. I doubt we’ll hear a peep out of them.
Good arrows from the Voice Of Value, its not quite on par with Alan Thompsons treble a few weeks back, but anyone who likes the geegee’s will be loving the 470-1 treble.
I had a speculative treble ( overs 2.5/Belgium win + Spain win + England -1 h/c ) around 9-1 but I only got offered a cashout of £15 from a tenner with 5 mins left on the England clock. For 85 mins it was blocked. That’s bet365 for you. I have a busy few days but should have my Rotherham/Derby preview up in plenty of time.

    • boabee8867 6 years ago

hi Nathan…the term doubters and haters, sadly gets used too often..thats not the case….there are a lot of very knowledgable guys out there….whats wrong with a bit of criticism now and again……taking tipping aside surely any person/s who praises themselves, acknowledges praise etc, must take a wee bit of criticism now and again……..no troll comments please..i like a bet like everyone else, but thankfully at the age of 61 get more satisfaction from a good training sesh/event ….

    • nathanufton 6 years ago

@boabee8867 it was way way worse than that. I think a few guys must of lumped on something and when it went wrong, the fangs were out big time. Kelly ran some cracking stats on profit and losses made on tips for a few months. Made that much dosh, I’m surprised Kelly’s accounts weren’t blacklisted by the bookies. It goes to show that keeping a level head and sticking with a plan will reap rewards if you play the long game.

    Morning gents,

Cracking stuff yesterday Mr F and well done to all with a big green tick on their betting slips – I was nowhere near the winners enclosure but sit on the 5.41 for Kings Cross plotting up a shot at redemption…

    GLENTORAN BU VS. DERRY CITY
    (2000 KO):

Not for the first time, I’m sizing up a bit of NILF action and this one looks to have plenty about it!

Aside from a doomed Portadown side, Derry City are propping up the table having amassed a spectacular 7 point haul after 15 games; their g/d of -51 speaks volumes and has an 84 goal differential to tonight’s opponents.

Glentoran sit a respectable 3rd place and will likely leapfrog Cliftonville into 2nd with a win tonight – the win should be a given with the real question being by how many AND will Derry chip in with a goal too?

Surprisingly, Derry did manage 2 goals in a narrow 2-3 defeat to the aforementioned Cliftonville last time out but the goals are few and far between prior to this; H2H’s do offer some hope of an away goal with one in 3 of the last 4 match-ups.

Realistically though, it’s the Derry keeper who’s likely to be the one picking the ball out of the net – it’s something they and their predescessors have done 31 times across the last 5 H2H’s in a 2 year spell.

The hosts have played some tight games against a few of the better teams in recent matches and I don’t wonder if Derry might bear the brunt of a response as Glentoran look to consolidate 2nd place in the table.

No goal lines set yet and will see how the land lies later if they look to present a bit of value!

    ****************************

Will try and add some reasoning later but a busy day ahead – the Night Owl sees me in Costa Rica on the hunt for goals…

Hull, mix up on the teams in the write up or am I missing a morning coffee? Apologies if wrong.

    • HullShaker 6 years ago

Sorry mate – stuck in meetings – maybe I have but wasn’t aware of it. What’s the mix up?

    • harleec7 6 years ago

I missed the morning coffee thats what’s up.. didn’t have my reading glasses on.

  5. old al 6 years ago

Well I for one am glad that’s all over, if it wasn’t for Gareth Bale it would have been a complete disaster for me. Fortunately I was on low stakes and VoV saved the week in fine style. I take my hat off to those of you who interpret the stats and team news into any type of reliable conclusion with all the variables involved in international matches (as in the world cup). Onwards and upwards.

    Thai Double today

    Chainat
    Prachuap

    Over 2.5mgs Double 6/4

Can be a good league for goals but noticed not as consistent as last season……still fancy this to land but small stakes advised as can be unpredictable

    Good luck

Looks a nice double that DC, I will add Bangkok Utd for the overs treble at 2.37/1

      Good luck

    • foundmyfunk 6 years ago

Thinking Muangthong should b to strong and Buriham nearly always win.. iver goals the best bet. Great league for goals and ridiculous refs…will have a sneaky treble with Bangkok It’s as well. Changrai in good form.

    • foundmyfunk 6 years ago

Was in playibg the Thai games and had some bad luck.Dodgy ref disallowed a perfectly good fifth for Buriham. My betting site had me ‘waiting’ for an in play bet and then rejected it when Buriham started their comeback. Overall, crap night except for. 4.58 treble on Muangthong, Buriham fh , Bangkok utd fh.

    • foundmyfunk 6 years ago

Was that overs bet? Changrai are in good fickle.was a close first half then flicked over to watch Buriham, who were awesome.. They have real quality up front and can’t defend for their lifes..like Liverpool a year or more ago.

Evening y’all tonight sees me in hondurus for the game between Lobos vs Real espana kick off 1:00am looking for greener pastures after yesterday’s disappointment; The home team lobos in good form at home against the visitors, last 4 games at home, won 2 drew 2 most teams tend to win on home soil in this division, while the visitors last 4 away games lost 3 drew 1, H2H between this two saw lobos winning 3 and drawing 1 based on stats and form here:

    LOBOS win ???

    • tipseebone 6 years ago

Quick one kick off 9:30 pm union commercial vs sporting cristal.
Sporting cristal are flying at the moment top of the Peru division and that ain’t a fluke, Sporting Cristal have won by 2 or more goals in 16 of their last 31 league games H2H shows the host tends to score on home stuff but going with cristal here to take all 3 point:
      Two selections to consider

      BTTS/OVER2.5 MGLS???
      Sporting cristal OVER1.5 TGLS ???

As usual I am off to brazil for the night owl

?Copa do brasil tonight Late games ????

    •Flamengo vs Corinthians
    •kick off 01:45am
    •2-3 match goals at EVENS

Love this market and got my bet up last night on it. Again not often 4 goals in these brazil matches whether it be Cup or league. Corinthians used to be knows as the defending Atletico Madrid of brazil until gremio took that crown and are still retaining it his year with less than 10 goals conceded.

Again feel this is value and covers the 7 scorelines

    Best of luck

    Usual stake on this
