WHY is it when you toss the coin to pick a tip it always ends on the wrong side.
For my Super Single yesterday it was between Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku to score – and we know what happened.
Heads Kane, tails Lukaku. I was quite happy with heads and planned to put any Kane winnings on the Man United new boy.
The Spurs striker had a quiet game at Newcastle until the final of minute of injury time. He had his chance but hit the post and seconds found the net but a team-mate was offside.
His miss beat the Super Single and the Daily Double of Spurs to win and over 2.5 match goals and Monaco.
Well done to all the winners yesterday including those who profited on dramatic Super Cup games in Italy and Spain. And cheers to Greg for his tips on Fana v Odd 11 earlier.
Scott Allot's 3-1 Euro treble became a double with the help of the Nou Camp match and I included goals in the games on the daily double for the app which is showing something like a 70 per cent win rate.
Meanwhile, my antepost tips Manchester City have been cut from 13-8 at the start of the season to 11-8 with William Hill after the opening weekend of the Premier League. Chelsea are big losers drifting from 7-2 to 6-1.
At the bottom Huddersfield remain odds on for the drop but are 10-11 now from 8-13.
Lukaku, who I backed for the Golden Boot, has stolen a march on a lot of his rivals for top scorer and has been cut from 4-1 to 5-2 while Kane is 4-1 from 3-1.
After winning the title last season Antonio Conte is 6-1 fourth favourite to be the first manager to leave his job.
It's been a busy weekend and it will be another busy week but fairly quiet tonight. Having trawled the card I'm putting up a treble.
Start with Valerenga at home to Tromso. Ronny Deila's side have been in decent form – one defeat in 11 and that was at the Stomsgodset club he left to join Celtic – and are now four points clear of safety with two games in hand.
They are at home to basement boys Tromso who have lost five of their last six and are now five points adrift of the relegation play-off place. Valerenga have won eight of nine at home to Tromso and should triumph again.
Benfica have started with two 3-1 wins in the Super Cup and league. They head to a Chaves side who lost just three at home last season but one was a 2-0 defeat to the Lisbon giants. Benfica also beat them at home and should pick up the points here even without striker Kostas Mitroglou.
Complete the treble with Hertha Berlin at Hansa Rostock in the German Cup. This is probably the riskiest part simply because it's a knockout game ahead of the Bundesliga kick-off.
However, there weren't many shocks in the cup at the weekend and Hertha usually take this tournament seriously as they'd love to reach the final that's played in their own stadium. They've been disappointed to lose to Borussia Dortmund in the past two seasons and will expect to beat a third division side that's kicked off with seven points from four games.
There's already been some chat on the site about Hoffenheim v Liverpool on Tuesday and it should be a cracker so I'm putting up my Super Single now.
Remember to check out welovebetting for their latest tips and video chat.

The money machine that is Hibernian have a home game next but I still think the bookies are feeling generous,
3 goals against Partick Thistle, 3 goals against Rangers, 3 goals against Hamilton?, it pays 2/1 with betfred for over 2.5 but I am already on at 5/2 and with the players Hibernian have you would think 3 goals is very getable when you see we have scored 24 goals in 7 competitive games, Stokes & Murray upfront could get three between them,
I have praised Slivka a lot on here and he is looking every bit the star I thought he was, his goal against Rangers was something special,
It might get a bit boring reading how well the team are playing together, how hard they are working, how fit they are looking and the quality size squad we have but it’s all true
Not many markets up yet, still waiting on goalscorer odds, the Racing Club are already on over 1.5 Hibernian goals at 8/11 (now 8/13)
Hibernian v Hamilton (Saturday)
HIBERNIAN over 2.5 goals 2/1 betfred
It’s not boring while you’re still winning.

Slimmed down card after the weekend bonanza and I’m Iceland-bound for an early evening kick off…
KA VS. STJARNAN (1900 KO):
Stjarnan are picking up momentum as the season draws on and I seriously think the bookies have got this one wrong.
An impressive 2-0 win over Briedablik last week puts Stjarnan 2nd in the table and they’ll be looking to close the gap on leaders Valur with a win over a side who they have beaten in the last 7 attempts.
Though mostly historically when the two were together in the old 1 Deild, Stjarnan did defeat KA 2-1 back in May – perhaps more relevant is the fact that KA have conceded a minimum of 2 goals in 5 of their most recent 6 games whilst Stjarnan have scored a brace or more in 4 of their own last 5 outings!
One selection:
STJARNAN OVER 1.5 TGS…EVENS

Good luck with all bets.
I’m in Iceland later too mate. See you in the frozen food section ?
Don’t be trying to smuggle out those cod goujons down your

@hullshaker LOL almost wet myself reading that!!!
Häcken vs. GIF Sundsvall (6pm)
BTTS @ 4/5
Sundsvall have scored in 6/7 recently, the exception a 1-0 defeat v Malmo. Hacken aer the better side and should score at home.
Elfsborg vs. IFK Göteborg – BTTS @ 1/2
Despite losing their last home match 2-0 to high-flying Sirius, Elfsborg are strong at home and scored 3-2-3-2 prior to that.. Goteburg have scored in four out of their last five including wins over AIK and 4-1 vs Norrkoping, so are also well capable of netting.
BTTS double pays 1.7/1
Another option is Elfsborg O1.5 tgls @ 4/5
@Liamw i’m on the draw in the Elfsborg game at 5/2,another option in this game would be btts and draw at 10/3,the last 3 meetings between these sides have ended in a stalemate with both scoring.
Unlucky hull lad yesterday on the Wigan game,Jonjo shelveys a tw-t i reckon Newcastle would of held on had he not been sent off.
@maccathered both of us needing another Elfsborg goal now mate – good luck!

Chinese Super League – 12.30PM
Just the one game today, which sees Hebei travel to Tianjin.
Hebei have been in free-scoring mode lately, netting in their last 6 games, the most recent 4 of those seeing them notching a minimum of 2 goals. Whilst they’ve only won 1 in their last 9 games, in a the majority of these they have only narrowly been defeated, against some half-decent opponents and have nearly always been on the scoresheet.
Tianjin haven’t won a game in their last 9 outings, and have failed to score in half of those. In those games where they have scored, it’s never been more than 1 goal. Home scoring record is a little more favourable, and they’ve managed to score in about 50% of those.
Interestingly, Hebei have only managed to keep 1 clean sheet in their last 9 games.
H2H stats show Hebei on top, winning their last 3 of 3.. the most recent of which was 4-0 at home, previously 5-0 away, and 1-0 at home in 2016.
I expect Hebei to win today, sticking with goals for the main bet though as there’s some good value here.

morning all
I am eying for 2 games today but first I shall post one and wait to see how it goes
Seongnam FC vs Gyeongnam FC
The previous meetings between the two has seen goals from both ends…
The away team is quite favourite to steal the show but I do not see the home side going without a fight either.
The vistors are hitting their season best at scoring with them having scored more than 2 goals lately.
Bookies have very high opposition to goals in this much today but I will take the risk to oppose this
I shall spread the little amount to the following likely outcomes
BTTS
OV 2.5 way above evens
Away dnb of cos has more likely hood at lower odds
0v 1.5 goals for the visitors is an absolute risky bet but I shall have at a lower confidence
Seongnam FC 1- 3 Gyeongnam FC
Btts won
ov 2.5 won
away won
away ov 1.5 tgs won
Against bookies all green

Hi Greg @gregbrowning,
Huge fan, so please don’t take this as a negative comment, as that’s not my intention.
Have you made a typo? I checked the Odds II away stats at Flashscores and they have gone >2.5 goals 11 times out of last 14 games. Did you mean to post >2.5mgs?
All the best
Pete
Moot point now, I guess.
Well done Gregg.
Great shout either way…
Might be wrong but I don’t think I’ve seen an unders bet from Greg.

Hoffenheim v Liverpool
Hoffenheim to win at 2/1 (NAP)
I hate say this but its no good sugar coating them.Liverpool’s defence was awful against Watford i never expected them to be as frail as they were and Jurgen Klopp must be held accountable he has to go end of he’s proved he can’t cut it when it comes to defense but thats for another day.Tommorrows match is a daunting task not in the fact of Hoffenheim being the better side because they simply aren’t but what Hoffenheim are very good at doing and thats scoring from set pieces and i expect them to play for free kicks etc because they will know for sure Liverpools weakness.Liverpool should control possession as they do in most games but its simple defending that they cannot control.reccomended bets for this game
Hoffenheim to win at 2/1
Over 12 corners in the game.
i could write more but do not have the time.
I’d have to agree with you on this macca, think Hoffenheim will have too much going forward, will be backing them to win too.
No they don’t have to much going forward at all thats not the case, they will cause problems from set pieces and set pieces alone and its this imo that will determine the match,as i said Liverpool are the better side here don’t get me wrong it would be foolish to think otherwise as going forward Liverpool can defend ok its set pieces that damage us and this is Hoffenheims speciality.Liverpool will have all the possession but Hoffenheim will be looking for set pieces.
It’s a tough tie for Liverpool but tomorrow I’ll be on btts and over 2.5 goals.
That’s my SS in the Recoerd and I might as well add to my post.
They have got goals in them and have been decent preseason, albeit against weaker opposition, but that’s my point, combining their ability to score goals with Liverpools poor defending they will have too much going forward. I think Liverpool will score though yeah and BTTS&Overs looks to be a strong shout Mr F.
You can’t judge a team by there pre-season,Liverpool had a fantastic pre-season then drew with watford.Liverpool will be looking for the away goal thats for sure.Btts score and over looks ok.remember though this is Europe so could be a bit tighter.
Benfica odds are rising ……………
The question is: Why?
Because there defence is new they sold a few good players during the summer and chavas are not shy in scoring.

Having had a look at the champions league matches tomorrow and I love having a flutter on cards in these matches. These matches are the last obstacle from group stages and the teams have everything to play for.
The Apoel and young boys matches are both being supervised by Spanish ref’s and we all know Spanish ref’s are good for high card counts. Apoel are a tough team and with their hot intimidating stadium we should hopefully see a fiesty match.
The Swiss will be geared up at home against the Russians and again I expect cards.
Both matches over 4.5 cards. Singles just above Evens.
