WE got goals eventually in the Champions League Final but they came too late to save my Super Single.

I thought I was playing it safe with a goal in each half in Kiev but should have stuck with some of my other tips including over 3.5 match goals.

Anyway while I was disappointed I wasn't as gutted as maccathered or Mo Salah who looks set to miss the World Cup with the shoulder injury that forced him off before half-time.

No one knows if Egyptian ace Salah's exit handed the advantage to Madrid because in reality it was two howlers by Reds keeper Loris Karius that handed the trophy to Real – as well as Gareth Bale's stunning strike.

While I tipped Fulham to beat Aston Villa in the Championship play-off final my Top Treble was beaten by Fulham scoring before the interval and my double was beaten in the early hours by New York Red Bulls failing to score.

Well done to all the winners including the consistent duo of HullShaker and Jordan as well as Greg and Ace with another golf two ball for members. Ace has posted one for tonight's Fort Worth Invitational.

And don't be too hard on maccathered. He may have been extremely confident about Liverpool but he's a fan and will be hurting.

Today sees the League One play-off final between Rotherham and Shrewsbury and that's tough to call.

Elsewhere it's mostly about Scandinavia as well French play-offs and Austrian league matches. I had Young Boys down to beat Zurich in the Swiss Cup Final and have added them to Ranheim +1 at Bodo Glimt – I gave the reasoning for that yesterday – plus Toulouse to beat Ajaccio in their French Ligue 1 play-off. Toulouse were miles better in the first leg winning 3-0 and should add to their lead and stay up in style in front of their own fans.

In Scotland there's the Junior Cup Final between Auchinleck and Hurlford and I'll post a separate preview. The likes of McBookie and William Hill have plenty of markets including first scorer.

    Morning all,

    Danish 2 division promotion playoffs.
    Næstved vs Middelfart.

Naestved are a win away from promotion and they can thank today’s visitors as they hammered Naestveds nearest competitor Kellerup 7-3 last time out in a goal crazy game. Leaving Naestved with the promotion in their own hands today.

Naestved have been solid at home winning a lot of games without to much fuss and regularly scoring 2+ goals.

Middelfart have however scored in the last 7 away games and after banging 7 in last time out I expect them to contribute again today.

    BTTS + Over2,5 mgls. @2.10 looks a good shout.

To back this up Middelfart have only failed to score in 2/13 away games
Naestved have scored in all home games. They should have to much for Middelfart with promotion looming.

    GL today.

    • philwindy 6 years ago

Lost middelfart not capable of scoring against much stronger opposition. Knew I should have take Naestved win and over 2,5 ?

    Brazil Serie A
    Botafogo vs Vitoria
    Both teams to score
    17/20
    Sportingbet – 4 Points

Botafogo remain unbeaten on home soil in the early stages of the season and have secured positive results against some of Brazil’s best. But they haven’t managed to keep a clean sheet in the league in all 7 games with BTTS coming home in all 3 home fixtures. Actually, the home side remain without a clean sheet at home in 9 attempts running back to September 2017 with the start of that run beginning in a 3-2 goalfest between the 2 sides in question. All 6 Vitoria games have seen BTTS come in and this bet has won in the last 2 H2Hs between these sides, think this game will be a case of offenders being way too good for defence and I expect both teams to contribute.

    May Profit / Loss: + 10.00 Points

      Commiserations on yesterday’s match Mac.

When Salah went off, you sensed it was going to be Real’s night.

You could never foresee the mistakes karius made. I feel sorry for him; such a public humiliation and knowing how unforgiving Liverpool fans can be.

Ultimately his mistakes, Madrid’s experience and strength of squad decided it.

However I’m sure Liverpool will make it back there again soon and suspect City to do so as well.

  11. theboss 6 years ago

I don’t mind that we lost..its Salah I’m sad for you can see how much he loves playing and it’s not about him it’s about the people..

The way he went off brought a tear to my eye…while that dirty b….d Ramos just laughs.

He knew EXACTLY what he was doing holding on to his arm while falling to to ground.

Shame because now Salah will miss the world cup which will be devastating for him and all of Egypt.

Just hope he’s back quickly and will get his day again soon ????

Can’t believe I’m saying this, but its more than likely because I’m not as big of a football fan anymore. Actually feel sorry for Liverpool fans after last night. Not Salah, although terrible for football fans worldwide, but because their one weakness in their squad imo cost them the game. Guarantee Liverpool make a big bid for any keeper who proves himself in the World Cup this summer. Unlucky all pool fans. Sincerely ??

Onto todays tip and its its two home sides in the Nords who I’m looking for goals.

First up is Malmo at home to Dalkurd whom I backed total goals in their last loss against Elfsborg (4-1). Dalkurd have lost 8 of their 10 opening games in Sweden, and today will be another big ask against the leagues biggest club. Malmo haven’t been their usual selfs so far, with only 4 wins from 11, but they have won 3 of 5 at home. Should be a couple of goals for them today.

Double that up with Molde at home to Start in Norway. Start managed a win last time out, but don’t make too much of that with it coming against Bodo/Glimt who are only two points above Start. They’ve lost eight of their last 10 games conceding 23 goals (scoring 4) with only 1 point in five away games, scoring once, conceding 11 goals. Molde have dropped points against some bad teams at home this season, but none as bad as Start. Even if both of these teams drop points, they should still score twice in the process.

    Malmo ??
    Molde ??

    Over 1.5 Team Goals Double @ 52/50 @ 365 – 2.5 points

    Malmo ??
    Molde ??
    Stromsgodset ??

    Over 1.5 Team Goals Treble @ 2/1 @ 365 – 0.5 a point

Shout out to @hullshaker for his rewarded efforts on the thread! They don’t come much better on here ??

Spoken like a true gent Jordan, been reading this morning that Klopp won’t be signing a goalkeeper,if we want to keep competing at the very top we have to have a world class keeper,i wouldn’t mind Liverpool signing Bale either what an addition he would be,he’s obviously not happy at Madrid and if he genuinly wants to challenge for the champions league then his best bet would be to sign for us.

Are you joking macca if he wants to challenge for the champions league again join Liverpool.you must be wearing blinkers are ya Liverpool were never going to beat Real Madrid.and they won’t do as well next season it’s all about United and city for me . Liverpool will have to spend a hell of a lot of money for next season to compete with the best . Mo salah won’t Be the same treath next campaign as he was this one . I was delighted they lost keep Liverpool fans quite for a while

    • maccathered 6 years ago

So he should join Man Utd then lol,Liverpool are the nearest threat to Man City,Man Utd might of finished second but like i said before had the reds not been in Europe then second would of been ours,Man Utd are way way off the pace when it comes to City and Liverpool, make no mistake with Neiby Keita coming in he will strengthen our midfield no end.Big teams don’t lose at home in Europe especially to the likes of Seville, big teams also play football and don’t park the bus.

table don’t lie united were the second best team in the premiership,i don’t like mourinho but one thing I know is he is a winner that muppet klopp don’t know how to win Finals ,don’t forget united played in the champions league aswell and played more games in the fa cup so don’t make excuses like that ,Like I said take off those blinkers pool are behind united, also sevilla beat Liverpool in the Europa league final ,typical Liverpool fan saying parking the bus, but to me that was a good point for united at Anfield +the three we got at old Trafford where we beat Liverpool easy was great,SALAH,MANE,FIRMINO, never got a look in at united ,by the way Liverpool had the easiest passage in the champions league this year

    • maccathered 6 years ago

Two European finals in the space of four years says a lot, beating Man Utd along the way and City home and away,we didn’t look out of place playing against Madrid either,Liverpool are getting stronger and stronger and another summer of signings should see Liverpool there or there abouts for the premier league title.

    • HullShaker 6 years ago

Cheers Jordan – best of luck today sir ??

did yous win anything macca NO I would say Liverpool will be lucky to finish in the top 4 next season

    • maccathered 6 years ago

Lucky to be in top four didn’t Man Utd finish 6th the season before last only gaining entry through the Waffa cup final which again you played absolutely nobody to win it,imo i would say Man Utd should finish top four next season and so should Liverpool, doubt Spurs or arsenal will, but if you want before the season starts i will have a little side bet with your goodself that Liverpool finish higher than Man Utd,and go further than Man Utd in the champions league.

yes they did but any one knows about football united were never going to get into the top 4 so mourinho used his head and concentrated on the Europa league ,the rest is history .would you not agree that was a good move

ok macca when the season is about to start lets have a bet

    • aarron19888 6 years ago

@maccathered i am a neutral and I completely agree, this season liverpool have 100% been better.

all pundits and fans on the fence would agree as well, when Liverpool bring Keita in and if they manage to get Fekir then it will be a frightening thought.. Pogba will go to psg or a club along those lines, if martial etc want to have a good career with a club they have to leave and not play under Jose and go and play positive and free flowing football – exact same as Rashford etc as well. for me IF Douglas costa goes to man utd after the way he has been playing in Italy he would seriously ruin his career for me, look at Depay he is the best example and comparison @theplug, no offence but while Jose is there and especiallly now they have been so found out – they are winning nothing.

25 points behind city. Macca I’m struggling to see how Liverpool are going to close that kind of a gap with the players they have, arsenal played some lovely football a few years back but couldn’t win the premership, some times you have to play ugly to win.

    • maccathered 6 years ago

With the players we have you for real mate,Salah,Mane,Firmihno,Keita, thats a better midfield than pogba and Sanchez mate lol pogba oh and Lukaku who imo is well sheet.

    • maccathered 6 years ago

Man Utd finished 19 points behind so i’m not grasping where ya coming from, the simple fact is Man City are the best team in Manchester and the nearest side to them is Liverpool,i like Roy Keane because he speaks the truth and nobody likes it,he’s ex Man UTd and he even said Liverpool are the closest to them and Man Utd are miles off.

salah was having a good game last night ,mane was ok firmihno was dirt ,and I loved roy keane but he is still sulking after Fergie got rid of him so I would take what ever he says with a pinch of salt. sure look lets see what happens over the summer .

    • maccathered 6 years ago

Salah has been tremendous this season and any club if they could would sign him tommorrow including Real Madrid, another player who i think will be world class is Andy Robertson he has been that good Liverpool are ready to offer him a bumper contract,Firmihno has also been outstanding this season infact it’s his best season yet,so we can talk about improvement which if you ask anyone who doesn’t support Man Utd would say that Liverpool have improved vastly and are becoming quite a force not just attacking but defensive also unbeaten at home all season in the league,so lets talk about Man Utd have they improved with the purchase of Pogba and Sanchez??What have Man Utd players done to get the world talking. No more on this topic from me it’s blocking the thread up.

didn’t know the world was talking about Liverpool ,the only ones I hear talking about Liverpool is Liverpool fans ,and Ive see how much they have improved in defence last night ,also united have improved with those three mentioned we finished second didn’t we,6th last year that’s a big improvement imo

      AARRON19888
no offence taken ,I have said Liverpool have been playing good football this season, but not good enough to challenge for the prem, even if they get in those two players I don’t think they will be good enough .could be wrong .I have said I don’t like mourinho at united ,but I think he is the one to bring the title back to old Trafford. and while united haven’t been playing great football they haven’t been as bad as everyone is making out united have a good record against the top teams in the prem this year , which is more than I can say about the rest .lost a few silly games ,drew a few silly games only for that they would have been a lot closer to city.

    • maccathered 6 years ago

Man Utd lost more games than Liverpool,we drew to many.Like i said i won;t say it again Man Utd are way way behind City,we beat them three times this season, and even Pep Guadiola said that Liverpool are their biggest threat, until yernited sign better players your just going to keep falling behind, second place finish means nothing as really no one was challenging Man City it means nothing but the way you are talking they should bring a video out of you finishing second,Man Utd are dogpoo.

    • micky lfc 6 years ago

      Bitter plug

micky lfc ,I’m surely not bitter I just cant stand people talking bull shit, just for macca I never said we are better than city .united have fallen behind city the last couple of seasons that’s about it ,and your spot on macca when you say second means nothing, I nearly forgot what its like to finish 2nd in the premiership because we came first so many times.

    Huesca v Gimnastic

Huesca are unbeaten in there last five matches with form of WDWWW and are up against a Gimnastic side who have only won 1 of their last 5 matches away from home. Huesca currently sit top of the league just 2 points clear of 2nd place Vallecano, so they need to win today to keep their chances of winning the league. Gimnastic currently finds themselves in a relegation battle sitting 17th and just 1 point above the drop. The odds are crazy for this game making the away side odds-on favourites. I am going to go for a gamble and hope it pays off.

    Huesca WIN – 7/2

    Huesca over 1.5tgs – 15/8

Relieved to see BTTS and Overs land last night as it ate into some of the losses for the month. Aus morning effort saw all the goals land in one game unfortunately. Small effort today where I like a few games for BTTS but the prices aren’t quite long enough. Considered taking the Valur game on the single but didn’t fancy a big outlay at 8/11. Therefore, opting for doubles at a reduced stake.

    Third Stake:

sack that just got 4/1 on betfair……………….

  39. craneguy 6 years ago

hi shortee, its still available on wh, coral and sky mate

    • shortee 6 years ago

Cheers. Was away then back now limited market. I’m on them also after Monday lol. No cash out this time. £200 single 3/1

    • alex_mufc83 6 years ago

Yeah bookies potentially got this one wrong, whilst Gimnastic are fighting for survival in the Segunda, only a point or so away from the relegation zone, and Huesca are already promoted, surely Huesca will want to get the 1st place in the league..
A less risky bet might be Huesca to score – currently 4/6, or draw not bet 5/2

    • maccathered 6 years ago

How much is your cashout Shortee???

    • shortee 6 years ago

Was £232 5 mins in lad. Now
      They 11/1 and it’s £88

    • maccathered 6 years ago

The bookies know something here lads,Huesca are now 11/1 if you have money on them cashout they know something we don’t.seems like a trap to me.

    • shortee 6 years ago

Very true macca but very weird
      To me and even
      Fighting relegation
      And the team
Out as the lads have said. Nothing making sense. Even
      Double chance
      Now 7/4 and under 1.5
      Still generous 5/6

    • shortee 6 years ago

      20/1 now ?????

    • maccathered 6 years ago

No ones pouring money on Gimnastic to make the odds fall to 4/11 the bookies know something,i would get out with hat you can salvage lol

    • shortee 6 years ago

      Yea I
      Know that
      And
      No ones
      Pouring
      Money. Tpo
      Dodgy. Agree with you.

Might seem strange to you but if they’ve done a deal they’ve done a deal. Happens often especially in Italy.

    J Wilstermann vs San Jose
    Over 3.5mgs @ 11/8
    Medium stake
    William Hill

    Wilstermann last 6:
    2:4, 1:3, 3:0, 0:6, 7:0, 5:1

Have to get on this, Wilstermann score for fun but it doesn’t seem to change the opinion of the bookies.

    Good luck all!

    UFC Fight Night Liverpool

Darren Till v Stephen Thompson – Darren Till to win via KO, TKO, Disqualification or Submission – 2/1

You can analyse this fight every which way but this really is soo close to call. Thompson is the slight favourite and rightly so with his experience but for me, despite missing weight and having a couple of personal issues in the last day or two, I just cannot shake the feeling that Till with his speed and constant pressure style of Muay Thai fighting will find a way through and finish Thompson on home soil most likely via TKO in the 2nd or 3rd round.

UFC is live on BT Sport 2 right now and this fight will most likely start between 8-9pm.

Was on the Till straight win @6/4 earlier in week.

Great mindset and good win despite not making the weight.
